Introduction
The Chaos build heavily focuses on large Area of Effect (AoE) skills with low Cooldowns to clear the content as fast as possible. This content isn't difficult and can easily be completed by spamming skills.
The Combat Stats are not as important as they are for PvP or Raid builds. Simply use the recommended Raid gear and Combat Stat distribution from the Pinnacle Glaivier Raid Guide and Control Glaivier Raid Guide.
Chaos Dungeon Skill Build
- Raging Dragon Slash is a strong AoE Clearing skill that can also freeze mobs or elites that aren't killed.
- Half Moon Slash deals incredible damage to mobs gathered by its tornado and lifts them in the air. Prepare Raging Dragon Slash underneath it if there are some leftover enemies.
- Windsplitter and Cutting Wind are mainly used for AoE clearing.
- Starfall Pounce and Red Dragon's Horn are used to burst down Elites/Bosses after swapping into Focus Stance with 3 bars of Identity Gauge.
- Flash Kick is mainly used for mobility. Chain Slash can also be used as mobility by cancelling its attack after the dash with Spacebar.
- Shackling Blue Dragon is used to debuff Bosses/Elites to increase the chances of critical striking with every skill for 6 seconds. This skill can be replaced with another AoE clearing skill if you prefer.
Alternatives
Glaivier has a plethora of skills in Flurry Stance that provide good AoE skills for clearing mob packs. Listed below are all the options that can be swapped in, depending on your preferences. Skill Tree/Tripods are displayed in the skills tooltips.
- Chain Slash
- Stampeding Slash
- Soul Cutter
- Blue Dragon's Claw
- Thrust of Destruction in Focus Stance provides decent damage to Elites/Bosses and frontal AoE if you are comfortable with the charging start-up.
Gameplay
Chaos Dungeon is fairly easy to complete. A simplified rotation is used:
- Walk around and gather mobs and Elites in a tight pack before bursting them down with all the AoE clearing skills in Flurry Stance.
- Raging Dragon Slash with Frost Slash can gather Elites before bursting them down with Red Dragon's Horn and Starfall Pounce.
- Use Shackling Blue Dragon on Elites/Bosses to ensure higher Crit Rate with all the Flurry Stance skills before switching to Focus Stance. Red Dragon's Horn and Starfall Pounce in Focus Stance already have 100% Crit Rate against push immune monsters, such as Elites and Bosses.
- You don't have to be conservative with Awakening skill usage since the 40-100% Cooldown refresh from killing Elites/Bosses and 40% Cooldown Reduction buff from Rift Cores work on them as well.

Combat Stats
Sub-stat priority is not important, as the content is easy as long as the player is using matching Tier Gear and accessories.
Runes
Runes enhance Skills with extra bonuses. All Rune drops are account bound and have limited availability, so placement of Runes on the correct Skills is important. Below are the recommend parings. Check the Rune Guide for more details.

- Quick Recharge is paired with Chain Slash since it's the lowest cooldown skill for higher chances of proc-ing the cooldown refresh.
- Half Moon Slash and Wheel of Blades are paired with the Conviction and Judgment combo to get more cooldown reduction when its effect procs.
- Galewind is used for increasing skill cast speed, which also affects channeling and charging skills as well.
- Protection is used on Cutting Wind for protection against ranged enemies while channeling the skill.

- Group enemies tightly before bursting them down with AoE skills in Flurry Stance.
- Starfall Pounce and Red Dragon's Horn are strong single target damage skills for bursting down Elites/Bosses in a matter of seconds.
- Apply a Crit Rate resistance reduction debuff with Shackling Blue Dragon on Elites/Bosses.
- Killing Elites/Bosses and breaking Rift Cores grant a Cooldown refresh or Cooldown Reduction buff. This works on Awakening Skills, so you can use them often.
