Introduction
The Chaos Dungeon build heavily focuses on large Area of Effect (AoE) skills with low Cooldowns to clear the content as fast as possible. This content isn't difficult and can easily be completed by spamming skills.
Windfury Aeromancers can keep using their raid builds for Chaos Dungeon and tweak some tripods to have bigger AoE. This guide however will go for the more efficient and comfortable method of clearing Chaos Dungeon with Aeromancer.
Chaos Dungeon Skill Build
- Spread is for Current Occurrence to buff up your Piercing Wind and Wind Gimlet for killing elites that isn't dead after being damage by your other skills.
- The main skills for this build is Rainstorm will build your Raindrop gauge fully by itself with it's 2 stacks and you'll be able to immediately activate Sun Shower which will clear all mobs in the area instantly when paired with Drizzle and Preemptive Strike. You don't have to use Preemptive Strike if you have a proper Drizzle raid engravings setup , that'll work too.
- Whirlpool will be your back up Raindrop gauge generator if needed.
- Other skills are pretty much just filler skills if Elites/Bosses didn't die to your Sun Shower while pack clearing.
Gameplay
Chaos Dungeon and Cube content are fairly easy to complete. A simplified rotation is used:
- Convert your Legion Raid set to Nightmare Set or Salvation Set via Gearset Conversion for higher initial damage burst when you have Sun Shower up.
- Use Narr's Blade to activate Nightmare Set effect and to build Raindrop gauge, so you can activate Sun Shower immediately.
- Cast Rainstorm or Whirlpool to fill up Raindrop gauge to activate Sun Shower as soon as possible.
- Stay in the middle of the map or walk around if you can't stay still and watch Sun Shower disintegrate mobs into dust.
- use other skills if Elites/Bosses spawn that can't be kill quickly by Sun Shower.
- You don't have to be conservative with Awakening skill usage since the 40-100% Cooldown refresh from killing Elites/Bosses and 40% Cooldown Reduction buff from Rift Cores work on them as well.

Recommended Setup
- Stack as high Specialization as possible for Weather Skills damage increase.
- Get Steam Gained level up to at least Level 4 on Rainstorm and Whirlpool.
- Set gearset preset to change to Nightmare Set or Salvation Set for Chaos Dungeon preset. (Don't have to change anything if you have Drizzle raid engravings setup)
- Setup Preemptive Strike if you don't have a Drizzle raid setup.
- Get Drizzle up from express's free 5x3 or get some cheap setups from market.
Runes
Runes enhance Skills with extra bonuses. All Rune drops are account bound and have limited availability, so placement of Runes on the correct Skills is important. Below are the recommended pairings. Check the Rune Guide for more details.

- Only Wealth is important here to get your Sun Shower up as soon as possible and you can proceed to watch your favorite video or clips for 25 seconds before coming back and cast Rainstorm 2 times and repeat.
Summary
- Stack high Specialization stats for Weather Skills damage.
- Get Steam Gained level up to at least Level 4 on Rainstorm to generate Raindrop gauge as fast as possible.
- Cast Rainstorm 2 times and activate Sun Shower then go grab a snack or make a cup of coffee/tea and come back in 25 seconds and repeat the process.
- Cast other skills if Sun Shower can't 1 shot the Elites/Bosses.
- Setup Preemptive Strike if you don't have a proper Drizzle raid setup.
- Drizzle is important to extend Sun Shower duration.
