Introduction
Unlike the Shock Training build which thrives on doing very high damage attacks primarily with their Shock skills, the Ultimate Skill: Taijutsu Scrapper focuses almost exclusively on their Stamina skills. They have a versatile kit that allows for quick and impactful gameplay. The increased Stamina generation from the Engraving eases your Stamina Meter management and lets you pay more attention to the battle.
Skills like Iron Cannon Blow, Instant Hit and Continuous Push have forward momentum attached to them, allowing you to easily stick to your target. Scrapper offers some of the best Stagger, Weak Point and Counter Attack capabilities in the game. Their Spacebar can be used once or twice depending on the situation and is excellent for avoiding multiple threatening attacks.
Despite so many positives, there are also negatives, one being the lack of ranged abilities. Most of your attacks are extremely close range, have very narrow hitboxes and small areas of effect. Still, these skills feel very impactful to use and once mastered don't hold you back. While being one of the tankier melee classes in the game, she doesn't offer any skills with shields or meaningful damage reduction to herself or the party. Ultimately, this makes any major mistake quite painful and can easily lead to her death.
Check out the Guardian Raids and Abyssal Dungeons guides for an introduction to their content.
This build guide assumes you have a Character at Level 50 before transitioning to it. Check out the Scrapper Leveling and 1-50 Leveling guides to reach Level 50.
Raid Skill Build
- Charging Blow is a low cooldown mobility skill for engaging and disengaging.
- Judgment applies a debuff to the boss called Amplified Damage. Re-apply this every 8 seconds.
- Dragon Advent is a gap closer that deals decent damage and a lot of Stagger.
- Iron Cannon Blow and Battering Fists are high damage skills ideally performed from the back of the boss.
- Instant Hit and Roundup Sweep are quick skills that can be used to Counter Attack.
- Continuous Push is a Holding skill that lets you move and attack at the same time. It grants an increasing damage reduction with each hit over its duration.
- Death Rattle is a high damage skill with exceptional Stagger and Weak Point.
- Earthquake Chain is great for quick damage and Stagger application.
- Mysterious Art: Blast of Ruination is the prefered Awakening as it deals more damage when performed up close to the target compared to Undefeated Dragon King.
Alternatives
You have two Awakening Skill choices:
- Mysterious Art: Blast of Ruination requires your character to be within 3-meter distance of the target for maximum damage. With further distance damage is reduced.
- Undefeated Dragon King lets you engage from a distance upwards of 13 meters and has a faster cast animation than Mysterious Art: Blast of Ruination, but does 12% less damage.
- Crushing Smite and Fierce Tiger Strike can be used instead of Judgment. As they also provide Amplified Damage, but have 2 second longer cooldowns with no Paralysis Immunity or Weak Point.
- For fights requiring Counter Attacks, Death Rattle can be replaced with Roundup Sweep. The low cooldown and the extended hitbox makes it easy to counter with.
- For encounters requiring heavy Stagger Checks, Death Rattle can be replaced with Critical Blow as its Target Focus skill tree provides 6 seconds of 20% increased stagger damage inflicted from you and your party members.
Skill Tree Options
Charging Blow
- Ruthless Advance - Lets you travel further, but adds extra animation. The additional damage only applies to the final hit.
- Destroyer - Damage bonus scales all hits of the skill, shorter animation than Ruthless Advance.
Dragon Advent
- Conflagration Attack - Decent extra damage and an amazing option when paired with a Bleed rune, as each fire tick reapplies bleed for its full duration.
- Tenacity - Push Immunity is great for fights with a lot of knockdowns or knockups so you can tank through these mechanics with the right timing.
Instant Hit
- Stamina Control - Only useful for when you're running into Stamina regeneration problems.
- Wide Hit - Helps with landing the skill from a wider angle.
Earthquake Chain
- Blindside - This skill tree provides Paralysis Immunity to Earthquake Chain even though it doesn't show up in its tooltip information. Has a faster cast animation than Power Strike, letting you perform other actions quicker.
- Power Strike - Does not provide Paralysis Immunity, has a longer animation than Blindside, but provides more damage and Stagger.
Continuous Push
- Violent Advance - Acts as a filler in a Crit based build as it prolongs the skill duration, allowing your other skills to refresh their cooldown in the meantime.
- Brink of Death - Best used in a Swiftness based build as it reduces the duration. It creates a Perfect Zone in which you want to release the skill as soon as possible. This Perfect Zone can be used as a gap closer, as it launches your character forwards a few meters.
Roundup Sweep
- Madman - Extends the distance of the skill and adds another hit, which is helpful when mistiming counters.
- Circumstantial Judgment - The quickest cast time of the 3 options, and great for continuing your combos immediately afterwards.
- Additional Strike - Lets you stack up another charge of the skill, helpful if Swift Preparation does not trigger on the first cast.
Critical Blow
- Tendon Rupture - Used for extra damage output If the party or the encounter does not require additional stagger damage.
- Target Focus - Used for extra party stagger damage if the encounter requires it.
Crit Build Variants
- Replace Continuous Push with Earthquake Chain if immediate application of Damage and Stagger is important to you. This comes at the cost of increased downtime in your rotation.
- Adjust other skills based on your preference and the available options under alternatives.
Swiftness Build Variants
- In a Swiftness setup Charging Blow can be replaced with a variety of skills based on your preference and encounters. Continuous Push, Critical Blow and Roundup Sweep are all great options if you can manage to stay alive with your Spacebar as the only escape tool.
- When running Continuous Push select Brink of Death as your skill tree to reduce cast time resulting in more uptime of other skills.
Note that more variations are possible, which purely depend on your preferences, otherwise stick to the base build.
Gameplay & Skill Rotation
It is important to position yourself at the back of the boss to gain +10% Crit Rate and +5% Damage bonus for your attacks.
The general idea is to have a constant stream of attacks with minimal downtime, while keeping up your Amplified Damage debuff from Judgment every 8 seconds.
Crit Build Rotation
- Judgment
- Iron Cannon Blow
- Battering Fists
- Death Rattle
- Instant Hit
- Dragon Advent
- Charging Blow
- Judgment
- Continuous Push
- Continue with skills that come off cooldown and keep up Amplified Damage every 8 seconds.
Swiftness Build Rotation
- Judgment
- Iron Cannon Blow
- Battering Fists
- Earthquake Chain
- Death Rattle
- Instant Hit
- Dragon Advent
- Charging Blow
- Judgment
- Continue with skills that come off cooldown and keep up Amplified Damage every 8 seconds.
- If you chose Roundup Sweep over Death Rattle, most of the time this skill will be on hold for either mechanics involving high Stagger requirements, or whenever the boss performs a move that can be Countered.
Stagger Check Priority:
- Dragon Advent
- Earthquake Chain / Continuous Push
- Death Rattle / Roundup Sweep (until it doesn't reset)
- Battering Fists
Stat Priority
- Crit Build - 70% Crit / 30% Swiftness
- 50/50 Build - 50% Crit / 50% Swiftness
- Swiftness Build - 70% Swiftness / 30% Crit
Stamina skills do not benefit from Specialization, therefore we don't utilize this stat at all. Most of our damage scaling comes from a combination of Weapon Attack, Engravings and Tripods.
When trying to maximize a Crit focused build, make sure that your gear set together with your engraving choices and back attack bonus doesn't go over 90~% as any bonuses gained from Crit based party synergies would be wasted. Overflowing stats can be shifted more towards Swiftness to increase your Cooldown Reduction and Attack Speed.
Pros & Cons of a Crit build
- Burst windows will always reach the maximum potential damage output possible.
- Low movement speed, high Space Bar and general skill cooldowns.
- You gain a lot of value out of attack speed buffs from your teammates.
- Reduced Weak Point damage due to longer cooldowns.
- Need to be mindful when using a counter skill.
- Might be difficult to survive.
Pros & Cons of a 50/50 build
- Very potent in a party with crit rate and attack speed synergies.
- The middle ground between a Crit and a Swiftness build.
- Performs well in most aspects of the game.
- Good Weak Point damage.
- Easy to survive.
Pros & Cons of a Swiftness build
- Can utilize Raid Captain when playing with supports that use Swamp of Yearning set.
- High movement speed and low Space Bar and general skill cooldowns.
- Can apply Weak Point damage quickly due to lower cooldowns.
- Requires more uptime in a fight. Harder to play optimally.
- Damage values can vary due to lower crit rate.
- Very potent in a party with crit rate synergies.
- Easy to survive.
Bracelet
Bracelets provide beneficial effects to yourself or to your party members depending on the rolls.
Note: Bracelets should not be your top priority to optimize since it'll be much more efficient to optimize your other gear first. Bracelets are costly! So slowly build towards a Main Stat and a Sub Stat. Anything else is extra!
Check out the Bracelet Guide for more details.

Engravings
Class Engravings provide powerful benefits that can significantly change playstyle. Battle Engravings are generally used to increase damage. Below are the recommended Engravings for this build.
Check out the Engraving Guide for more details.
Starter Engravings
- Ultimate Skill: Taijutsu massively increases the natural recovery speed and damage of your Stamina skills while reducing the damage of Shock skills by 30%. You can't play this build without this engraving, making it your highest priority.
- Adrenaline provides an additional source of Crit Rate and Attack Power. It is fairly easy to upkeep since you can spam your Stamina skills.
Add-On Endgame Engravings
- Grudge* increases damage done while also increasing damage received. The engraving is a highly effective damage increase without needing specific positioning, making it worthwhile even with the penalty.
- Master of Ambush because 5 of your 6 damage skills have a Back Attack property, this becomes a good choice, but forces you to play around it to take full advantage of it.
- Cursed Doll* is a significant Attack Power increase at the cost of 25% healing penalty from Battle Items. The healing penalty can be punishing for inexperienced players not familiar with boss mechanics.
- Raid Captain a great choice when using a full swiftness build.
- Keen Blunt Weapon* can be a good option if you manage to accumulate 65% or higher Crit Rate.
(*)These Engravings should only be used at Engraving Level 3.
Optimal Setups
Engravings are listed in order of priority from left to right. If you own a 9/7 Ability Stone your 6th engraving can be made Lv.2 with ancient accessories.
Crit Build
50/50 Build
Swiftness Build
Alternative Swiftness options:
- If you own a 9/7 Ability Stone, replace Lv.3 Adrenaline with Lv.3 Cursed Doll and use Lv.1 or Lv.2 Adrenaline as a 6th engraving instead of Ether Predator.

Runes
Runes enhance Skills with extra bonuses. All Rune drops are account bound and have limited availability, so placement of Runes on the correct Skills is important. Below are the recommended pairings.

Roundup Sweep | Rage Purify Quick Recharge |
- Rage is best used with Charging Blow and Roundup Sweep so it can increase the speed of our Skill Rotation.
- Bleed works best on Dragon Advent due to its Conflagration Attack reapplying it constantly.
- Overwhelm is used to further improve the Stagger we apply with Dragon Advent, Earthquake Chain, Death Rattle and Roundup Sweep
- Protection is useful on Continuous Push because its shield applies for the full 6 second duration of the skill, allowing you to tank unavoidable chip damage.
- Galewind is ideal for speeding up your best damage dealing skills.
- Quick Recharge is used for skills closer to the end of your rotation for highest effectiveness.
- Purify is used against encounters that apply constant debuffs to you. Combine this with low cooldown skills to remove negative effects from you on hit.
- If these specific rune versions are not available to you, use lower tier versions of them!

While Gems add benefits to skills, you can also increase the effects of Skill Trees themselves. Their levels go up to 5 and each level can increase the damage, cooldown reduction, or buff that they provide.

Budget Damage Card Set
Budget Damage Card Set 2
This card set does not replace Light of Salvation set or Kazero's Legion Commanders set, but it can be used if you're new to the game and has set to get your Light of Salvation/Kazero's Legion Commanders set +18 or +30 yet.
Optimal Damage Card Set
Summary
- Minimum level 1 Ultimate Skill: Taijutsu is needed to play this build.
- Crit and Swiftness are your main stats.
- Keep up the Amplified Damage debuff from Judgment as best as you can.
- Position yourself at the back of the boss as much as possible since most of your skills benefit from the Back Attack bonus of +10% Crit Rate and +5% Damage.
- Be careful when using Earthquake Chain, Iron Cannon Blow and Roundup Sweep since they don't have Paralysis Immunity. The boss may easily cancel them with any attack pattern.
- Roundup Sweep and Instant Hit are your Counter Attack skills. Use them from the front whenever the boss lights up blue for an easy counter.
