Introduction
Unlike the Ultimate Skill: Taijutsu build that focuses almost exclusively on their Stamina skills. The Shock Training Scrapper utilizes Shock skills to deal massive amounts of high burst damage. The Class Engraving provides Shock Meter regeneration and boosts the damage of Shock skills like Death Rattle, Supernova and Chain Destruction Fist.
Since the core concept of managing 4 Stamina and 4 Shock skills remains roughly the same, it is very easy to transition into from the leveling stage and immediately
feel at home. Scrapper offers some of the best Stagger, Part Break and Counter Attack capabilities in the game.
Despite so many positives there are also negatives, one being the lack of ranged abilities. With the exception of Chain Destruction Fist and Potent Rising Fist, most of your attacks are extremely close range, have very narrow hitboxes and small areas of effect. Still, these skills feel very impactful to use and once mastered don't hold you back. While being one of the tankier melee classes in the game, she doesn't offer any skills with shields or meaningful damage reduction to herself or the party. Ultimately, this makes any major mistake quite painful and can easily lead to her death. This build suffers from lengthy animations, leaving you vulnerable against incoming attacks.
Check out the Guardian Raids and Abyssal Dungeons guides for an introduction to their content.
This build guide assumes you have a Character at Level 50 before transitioning to it. Check out the Scrapper Leveling and 1-50 Leveling guides to reach Level 50.
Raid Skill Build
- Charging Blow is a low cooldown mobility skill for engaging and disengaging.
- Fierce Tiger Strike and Crushing Smite apply a debuff to the boss called Amplified Damage. Re-apply it every 8 seconds. They are excellent Shock Meter generators.
- Roundup Sweep is a short cooldown Counter Attack skill that has medium attack range.
- Death Rattle is a high damage skill with decent Stagger and good Weak Point damage.
- Supernova is very similar to Death Rattle in terms of damage and execution, but doesn't require built up Shock Meter to take full advantage of it. It also provides good Stagger.
- Critical Blow - Quickly executed medium damage skill that can provide a party Stagger buff if speced into it.
- Potent Rising Fist is a Holding skill that has two instances of damage, first on initial hit and second on the landing. Offers good Stagger and damage.
- Chain Destruction Fist is a heavy hitting channeling skill that locks you in place. It offers good Stagger and Weak Point damage.
Alternatives
You have two Awakening Skill choices:
- Mysterious Art: Blast of Ruination requires your character to be within 3-meter distance of the target for maximum damage. With further distance damage is reduced.
- Undefeated Dragon King lets you engage from a distance upwards of 13 meters and has a faster cast animation than Mysterious Art: Blast of Ruination, but does 12% less damage.
- Critical Blow can be used instead of Potent Rising Fist or Roundup Sweep providing quicker damage output and the option to spec into Target Focus if the encounter has heavy Stagger Checks.
Skill Tree Options
Roundup Sweep
- Madman - Extends the distance of the skill and adds another hit, which is helpful versus mistimed counters.
- Circumstantial Judgment - The quickest cast time of the 3 options, and great for continuing your combos immediately afterwards.
- Additional Strike - Lets you stack up another charge of the skill, helpful if Swift Preparation does not trigger on the first hit.
Critical Blow
- Tendon Rupture - Used for extra damage output over Target Focus.
- Target Focus - Provides a 20% stagger damage buff to your party, take this only if the encounter requires a heavy Stagger Check.
- Mastery - Removes Charge and makes the skill cast instantly, while also increasing Shock Meter cost. Avoid this skill tree if you run into problems maintaining Shock Meter.
- Superthermal Wave - Skill remains a Charge attack, gives Stamina gain and bonus damage versus monsters below the 40% HP threshold.
Potent Rising Fist
- Refine Skill - Run this if you prefer more consistent damage with an increased cast animation as a tradeoff.
- Lightning Fist - Quicker cast time, but doesn't scale damage of the skill.
Chain Destruction Fist
- Tenacity - Provides Push Immunity. Guarantees a successful hit versus knockdown attacks.
- Flame Explosion - If Push Immunity is not required, this can be used for extra damage.
Gameplay & Skill Rotation
It is important to position yourself at the back of the boss for as much as possible to get a +10% Crit Rate and +5% Damage bonus for your attacks.
This build focuses on dealing massive amounts of burst damage in a short period of time with Death Rattle and Supernova. It simultaneously utilizes Stamina skills like Crushing Smite and Fierce Tiger Strike to replenish Shock Meter with the Focus skill tree for a constant flow of energy.
Avoid using Death Rattle with less than 76% Shock Meter available to you, as it loses too much effective damage otherwise.
Basic Rotation
- Crushing Smite
- Supernova
- Charging Blow
- Death Rattle
- Fierce Tiger Strike
- Chain Destruction Fist
- Potent Rising Fist
- Crushing Smite
- Roundup Sweep
- Mysterious Art: Blast of Ruination Awakening.
- Repeat from step 1
Try to use Supernova before using Death Rattle otherwise you will run into problems managing your Shock Meter.
Stagger Check Priority
- Roundup Sweep (until it doesn't reset)
- Potent Rising Fist
- Supernova
- Chain Destruction Fist
Stat Priority
Shock Training Scrappers aim for Specialization and Crit.
Pre - Relic Set stat priority
- Crit on your Necklace and one Ring, with remaining accessories on Specialization. It's difficult to obtain enough Crit prior to Relic Sets, so we invest slightly more into it.
Post - Relic Set stat priority
- Crit only on your Necklace. All remaining accessories on Specialization. With the help of Bracelets and upgraded Relic Sets, it becomes significantly easier to obtain enough Crit Rate. Therefore, it is important to maximize your Specialization as much as possible.
Bracelet
Bracelets provide beneficial effects to yourself or to your party members depending on the rolls.
Note: Bracelets should not be your top priority to optimize since it'll be much more efficient to optimize your other gear first. Bracelets are costly! So slowly build towards a Main Stat and a Sub Stat. Anything else is extra!
Check out the Bracelet Guide for more details.

Engravings
Class Engravings provide powerful benefits that can significantly change playstyle. Battle Engravings are generally used to increase damage. Below are the recommended Engravings for this build.
Check out the Engraving Guide for more details.
Starter Engravings
- Shock Training grants Shock skill damage as well as regenerates a percentage of maximum Shock Meter per second.
- Adrenaline provides an additional source of Crit Rate and Attack Power. It is fairly easy to upkeep.
Add-On Endgame Engravings
- Grudge* increases damage done while also increasing damage received. The engraving is a highly effective damage increase without needing specific positioning, making it worthwhile even with the penalty.
- Cursed Doll* is a significant Attack Power increase at the cost of 25% healing penalty from Battle Items. The healing penalty can be punishing for inexperienced players not familiar with boss mechanics.
- Keen Blunt Weapon* can be a good option if you manage to accumulate 65% or higher Crit Rate.
- Master of Ambush because all of your damage skills have a Back Attack property, this becomes a good choice, but forces you to play around it to take full advantage of it.
- Spirit Absorption provides you with 15% movement and attack speed and makes playing Shock Training less frustrating and gives you more opportunities to execute your rotations. (Only use this when soloing content or when playing without a Swamp of Yearning Support in your party).
(*)These Engravings should only be used at Engraving Level 3.
Optimal Setups
Engravings are listed in order of priority from left to right. If you own a 9/7 Ability Stone your 6th engraving can be made Lv.2 with ancient accessories.
Standard
Standard Options:
- If you own a 9/7 Ability Stone replace Lv.1 Ether Predator with Lv.2 Cursed Doll as a 6th engraving with ancient accessories.
Alternative
This build is typically utilized during public matchmaking content where you cannot rely on party synergies or have access to Supports. Also preferred in solo oriented content.
Alternative Options:
- If you own a 9/7 Ability Stone replace Lv.3 Adrenaline with Lv.3 Cursed Doll and use Lv.1 or Lv.2 Adrenaline as a 6th engraving.

Critical Blow | Protection Galewind |
- Rage is best used with Charging Blow and Roundup Sweep so it can increase the speed of our Skill Rotation.
- Bleed works best on Crushing Smite due to its low Cooldown.
- Overwhelm is used to further improve the Stagger we apply with Potent Rising Fist, and Roundup Sweep
- Protection is useful on Chain Destruction Fist because its shield applies for the full duration of the skill, allowing you to tank unavoidable chip damage.
- Galewind is ideal for speeding up your best damage dealing skills.
- Quick Recharge is used for skills closer to the end of your rotation for highest effectiveness.
- If these specific rune versions are not available to you, use lower tier versions of them!
Gear Skill Tree and Tripods
While Gems add benefits to skills, you can also increase the effects of Skill Trees themselves. Their levels go up to 5 and each level can increase the damage, cooldown reduction, or buff that they provide.

This card set does not replace Light of Salvation set or Kazero's Legion Commanders set, but it can be used if you're new to the game and has set to get your Light of Salvation/Kazero's Legion Commanders set +18 or +30 yet.
Optimal Damage Card Set
Summary
- Keep up the Amplified Damage debuff from Crushing Smite or Fierce Tiger Strike on the boss as best as you can.
- Position yourself at the back of the boss as much as possible since most of your skills benefit from the Back Attack bonus of +10% Crit Rate and +5% Damage.
- Be careful when using Crushing Smite, Fierce Tiger Strike and Roundup Sweep since they don't have Paralysis Immunity. The boss may easily cancel them with any attack pattern.
- Roundup Sweep is your Counter Attack skill. Use it from the front whenever the boss lights up blue for an easy counter.
