Introduction

The Berserker is a class with high burst damage and large Area of Effect (AoE) skills. The damage compensates more than enough for the long Cooldowns and low mobility of this class during the leveling phase. He obliterates group of mobs within seconds, especially after investing in Whirlwind and Tempest Slash.

During the leveling process, focus on equipping the highest Item Level gear while prioritizing the Crit and Specialization Combat Stats to increase your damage and clear speed. To level quickly, focus on doing Main Story Quest with some exceptions.

For a walk-through of the leveling quests, check out the Leveling Guide.

Skill Point Allocation

Allocate Skill Points to gain Skill Tree for your most powerful Skills. Below are the notable Character Levels to obtain the most important Skill Tree. Left over points can be spent on secondary Skills of your choice. Make sure you reallocate those points into the main Skills when needed.

Check the Skill Point Guide for more details.

Level 12: Shoulder Charge (4 points) for mobility to traverse around the map and dungeons. Finish Strike (4points) for AoE and single target burst with Push Immunity.

Level 20: Finish Strike (48 points) for density clearing and single target burst.

Level 25: Tempest Slash (20 points) for density clearing and single target burst.

Level 30-31: Whirlwind (4 points) for AoE clearing and phasing through mobs. Tempest Slash (48 points) for more damage.

Level 35: Diving Slash (4 points) for extra mobility to traverse quicker. Hell Blade (20 points) for an extra gap closer with AoE clearing.

Level 40-41: Red Dust (20 points) for critical strike chance buff and damage increase taken on targets debuff.

Level 44: Red Dust (48 points) for higher damage increase on debuff and more damage.

Level 50

Follow main story quest to Vern city until Beatrice notifies you to visit her in Trixion. Completing her questline rewards Aura Blade and Chain of Vengeance Awakening Skill. Check your inventory and consume the items to unlock the skills. Set up 2 skill presets for the Chaos Dungeon/Cube and Raid builds, listed below in the Endgame section.

Extra Notes

Extra Skill Points during leveling can be invested into Diving Slash for extra mobility when dismounted or in dungeons, and Whirlwind for extra damage. Make sure you reallocate those points into the main Skills when needed.

Gameplay

  • The Berserker has a lot of versatile skills that have huge AoEs and high damage burst. His cooldowns are relatively long, so make sure you group up packs of mobs and elites before killing them all at once.
  • After acquiring Red Dust, the burst damage kills bosses even faster during the leveling process.

Endgame

Once you reach Level 50, the following guides will guide you through the end game content and activities:

Summary

  • Use your mobility skills to travel around quicker in areas where mounts are disabled.
  • Finish Strike and Tempest Slash are the main early level skills for damage.
  • Debuff elites and bosses with Red Dust for higher damage burst.
  • Most of the skills have Paralysis Immunity Super Armor, so there's little need to dodge aside from telegraph big hitting moves. Finish Strike can be used to push through Crowd Control.
