Kayangel Gate 1 OLD

Introduction

Kayangel is the new Abyssal Dungeon introduced in Elgacia. Kayangel acts as a Legion Raid clear so you can replace it with an existing raid for 3/3. You can drop in and out of the gates just like Legion Raids. Learn how to get past the angels (and owl) guarding your rewards! Rewards include Set 3 upgrades, Ancient Stone upgrade, and more!

Normal Mode: 1540+
Hard Mode: 1580+

The recommended Combat Items include, but are not limited to:

  • Whirlwind Grenade
  • Dark Grenade
  • Sprinter's Robe

Disclaimer: In this guide, we will only focus on the important core & general patterns of the boss.

This guide assumes that you are familiar with the recommended Raid Build for your class.

Main Mechanics

Main mechanics occur at certain HP intervals or Phases.

Swords
x55 Stagger/Color
x25 1, 2, 3 Orbs

Description

  1. A player will randomly get swords above their head.
  2. Shortly after 3 stacks, they will be imprisoned.

What To Do

  1. Break with multihit skills. They will die/take massive damage if not freed.

Telegraph

  1. Boss will fly, bombard the area, and sit in the center.

Description

  1. The boss will perform AoEs while a stagger shield appears.
  2. After stagger, the boss will spawn more AoEs and flash a color underneath him.
  3. Orbs will be rotating around the boss.
  4. You will need to take the correct orb color that matches with the boss for a shield at the right time.

What To Do

  1. Dodge AoEs and Stagger the boss.
  2. After stagger, watch for boss color.
  3. Pick up correct orb color after the 3rd ground slam (when he roars). You will see an ending pulse after his final ground slam.
  4. Picking up the orb early will result in the shield expiring = death.

Telegraph

  1. Boss will fly away and spawn orbs.

Description

  1. Players will need to destroy orbs in the correct order to get a shield.
  2. Blue (1 ring) - Yellow (2 rings) - Orange (3 rings).
  3. You can also see the orbs on the minimap.

What To Do

  1. Destroy the orbs in the correct 1, 2, 3 order.
  2. Help teammates and watch the minimap if you need orbs.

Hard Mode: There will be a rotating AoE that does massive damage. Orbs cannot be destroyed while in the red.

  1. Boss will spin and raise his wings.
  2. He will either glow blue or purple.

What To Do

  1. Blue = Stagger
  2. Purple = Don't attack
