Additional engravings

  • Contender is a stacking Attack Power effect that increases in strength once you kill a monster, making it ideal for Chaos Dungeons.

Gameplay & Skill Rotation

Robust Spirit allows you to instantly enter Hype 3, this creates a playstyle around waiting for a Hype (Z) window. This window will be your main DPS phase.

Activating her identity grants you the following effects for its entire duration:

  • 15% Attack Speed
  • 25% Cooldown Reduction
  • 100% Increased Damage
  • This is all additional scaled with Specialization making it significantly stronger.

Soulfist Identity

Hype

Due to high Specialization the Hype (Z) window becomes incredibly strong, this means that your entire playstyle revolves around that 20 second window where you try to deal as much damage as possible. You can fit roughly 2 full rotations in the window. Additionally due to Robust Spirit and high Specialization this is one of the only builds in the game where an awakening does significant damage. Don't miss it!

After your Hype (Z) expires you will be doing significantly less damage, this means that you must pay attention to boss fights and timing for efficient DPS output.

Basic Rotations

Standard Damage Rotation (No Awakening)

  • Illusion Strike activates Conviction and Celestial Palm activates Judgment, since Celestial Palm has a delay it can be cast prior in some specific situations.
  • Flash Step means to just use a single tap of the skill.
  • Try your best to maintain your Synergy using Bolting Crash, even if you aren't planning to attack immediately after.
  • If Conviction and Judgment does not trigger, Energy Blast tends to clip on the second half of the rotation. This will be alleviated once you reach 1750 Specialization with 140 Swiftness.

Standard Damage Rotation (World Decimation Awakening)

  • Illusion Strike activates Conviction and Celestial Palm activates Judgment, since Celestial Palm has a delay it can be cast prior in some specific situations. This will provide some critical cooldown reduction to World Decimation so it is vital to line it up.
  • Flash Step means to just use a single tap of the skill.

Stagger Check Rotation

  • Simply follow this rotation to do decent Stagger. Remember you can also use a Whirlwind Grenade if you have one equipped!

Tripods and Gems

Tripod Levelling

Increasing the level of Tripods greatly enhances their effectiveness. You may only increase the level of 18 tripods at a time. Some of them cannot be leveled at all, or are left at level 1 - these tripods are omitted from the table, even if they are used. Here are the main tripods you should look out for in order to maximize this build's potential.

Stat Priority

This build utilizes Crit and Specialization, with a minor amount of Swiftness.

  • Specialization is the primary stat. It is incredibly important in this build as it heavily scales up Hype (Z). It increases all of the modifiers including damage, duration, cooldown reduction, attack speed, and your overall downtime.
  • Crit is a secondary stat. It scales up your damage by increasing your Crit Rate.
  • Swiftness is a secondary stat. It provides a minor increase to Attack and Movement speed as well as cooldown reduction.

Gear Set

Hallucination Set

This set is optimal thanks to the large amounts of Crit Rate and damage it provides to the build.

The name of your set will change every time you acquire a higher tier of gear, but the set effect will remain the same. Look for your set's keyword when recrafting it to find it more easily (e.g Entropy, Hallucination etc).

Check out the Gear Progression Guide for step by step instructions and early game gearing.

Engravings

Engravings are a core part of your build. Typically, most engravings will be used at level 3, but some can be used at level 1 or 2 in addition to the others, after reaching item level 1540 and unlocking Ancient Accessories.

Relic Gearing Build (5x3)

  • Robust Spirit
  • Grudge
  • Adrenaline
  • Keen Blunt Weapon
  • Cursed Doll

Ancient Gearing Build (5x3+1)

  • Robust Spirit
  • Grudge
  • Adrenaline
  • Keen Blunt Weapon
  • Cursed Doll
  • Ether Predator Lv. 1

Engraving Explanations

Core Engravings

  • Robust Spirit enables the burst playstyle of this build and grants a significant damage increase.
  • Grudge increases damage done while also increasing damage received. The engraving is a highly effective damage increase without needing specific positioning, making it worthwhile even with the penalty.
  • Adrenaline provides an additional source of Crit Rate and Attack Power. It is fairly easy to upkeep.
  • Keen Blunt Weapon although the Crit Rate of this build is relatively low to other builds it can still make use of this engraving even without max efficiency.

Add-on Engravings (Pick 1)

  • Cursed Doll is a significant Attack Power increase at the cost of 25% healing. The healing penalty can be punishing for inexperienced players who are not familiar with boss mechanics, but it becomes easy to overcome with time.
  • Mass Increase is technically viable however the Attack Speed penalty is rather severe making this only viable if you are gaining Attack Speed from other sources such as feast.

Level 1 and 2 Engravings

  • Ether Predator provides the highest damage boost of any level one engraving however it takes a while to ramp up.

Check out the Engraving Guide for more details.

Bracelet

Bracelets provide beneficial effects to yourself or to your party members depending on the rolls they have.

The primary goal is to get the main stats used by this build Specialization and Swiftness. After that you should be aiming for Special Rolls to get more damage. Please note that this system is heavily reliant on RNG, and you should not expect to get much more beyond your main stats early on.

Optimal Bonus Rolls

Check out the Elixir Guide for more details and general stat recommendations.

Card Sets

Cards are an endgame system that helps maximize your character's damage. Here are the recommended card sets for this build.

  • Deep Dive is used early on as it is fairly easy to obtain.
  • Light of Salvation is the standard endgame option, but it can take a long time to acquire 30-piece Awakening.
  • Kazeros's Legion Commanders is used as an alternative to Light of Salvation, in content where enemies have a weakness to Dark Damage.

Check out the Card Guide for more details on how to obtain cards and interact with them.
