Tier 4 Energy Overflow Soulfist Build Guide
Last Updated:December 4, 2024|Changelog
Welcome to the Energy Overflow Soulfist Build Guide! This build revolves around dealing unrelenting blows to the boss while ramping up from Hype (Z). Thanks to Energy Overflow you don't get penalized for having insane uptime and get to utilize high Attack and Movement speed to always be on the move.
The main thing to watch out for is her tricky identity. Utilizing Hype well can make or break your output, on top of this, you must maintain high uptime. Once you obtain great boss knowledge and class mastery, there is nothing that can stop you from dealing absurd damage in any scenario.
- Non-positional gameplay
- Good mobility
- Melee
- Requires raid knowledge
- High APM
- If you're unsure when to transition, our Ark Passive Breakpoints guide could help you decide whether you should return to the Tier 3 Guide or continue.

Identity & Gameplay
Energy Overflow allows you to play around unrelenting blows with no penalty. Utilizing Hype (Z) and Energy Release you can consistently buff up and focus on maintaining high uptime to deal outstanding damage in most situations.
Activating her identity grants you the following effects for its entire duration:
- 5/10/15% Attack Speed
- 5/10/25% Cooldown Reduction
- 5//25/60% Increased Damage
- These are laid out as level 1-3 Hype (Z)
Energy Overflow provides a damage bonus below 30% energy, however, due to the combination of high Swiftness you will be using so many skills that this will be easily maintained and not a concern. However, Hype (Z) management is essential and needs to be taken care of.
Soulfist Identity
Hype (Z) provides you with scaling buffs depending on the level. After you reach Hype 3and it expires, you will be exhausted waiting for it to regenerate. You should be trying to maximize the Hype (Z) windows to deal optimal damage. Due to the varying lengths of the duration, you will have to adapt your rotation to the situation.
Since Hype (Z) has multiple levels, and they change your approach, here is how you should utilize them.
- Hype 0: You should be in this state once you are forced out of Hype (Z) due to expiration.
- Hype 1 (60 seconds): This is generally immediately skipped due to the buff being very minor and having higher average damage playing around the higher Hype (Z) tiers.
- Hype 2 (40 seconds): This is the primary Hype (Z) level you will be at and will be doing consistent damage on.
- Hype 3 (20 seconds): This is an occasional burst window, used as Hype 2 is about to expire, and opens a window for you to deal significantly increased damage. There will be situations as you learn boss fights where you cannot utilize the full Hype 2 duration, so you should skip to Hype 3 to deal the highest potential damage. The downtime of the fight is a perfect break to wait for Hype (Z) to recharge and be ready for the next damage window.
Once you begin to learn fights, this build will become more and more reliable. Playing around Hype (Z) windows and your Energy Release will allow you to become a master at this class.

Standard Damage Rotation (Hype 0-2)
