Unique and Mythic Unique Items

Uniques and Mythic Uniques are the rarest items you can find in Diablo 4. They have powerful effects that can completely alter the way you play your character. While they are harder to find than Legendary Aspects, they are not always the most powerful BiS (Best in Slot) gear.

You can find most Uniques in any difficulty, but the best versions drop in Torment Difficulties. Uniques and Mythics can also be target-farmed from endgame bosses, including Echo of Varshan, The Beast in the Ice, Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint, Lord Zir, Duriel, King of Maggots, and Echo of Andariel. These sources of target farming are only accessible in Torment Difficulties. Torment difficulties also enable Ancestral items and Mythic Uniques cannot drop until Torment 1. These build-defining items can drop from the following sources.

• World: Enemies, Treasure Goblins, World Bosses, World Boss Cache, Chests, and more
• Helltide Chests: Drops Uniques specific to the chest type
• Purveyor of Curiosities: Obol Gambling NEW
• Tree of Whispers, Whisper Chests NEW
• Nightmare Dungeons: Increased drop chance
• Endgame Bosses: Echo of Varshan / The Beast in the Ice / Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint / Lord Zir / Duriel, King of Maggots / Echo of Andariel

Unique items in Diablo 4 exist to give players interesting ways of altering their skills for build-making purposes. Drop Details

• Drops in any difficulty doing all content
• Can be target-farmed in Torment difficulties from Tormented Bosses
• Ancestral Uniques have at least one greater affix and an item power of 800.
• Uniques have affixes within their minimum and maximum roll ranges.

Mythic Uniques are extremely powerful and extraordinarily rare drops, even rarer than Uniques. These items are target farmable from ALL Tormented endgame bosses. While they can still drop from world drops, they are nearly impossible to find this way. Some Mythic Uniques are build-defining and allow alterations to powerful setups to become even stronger, while not as build-defining but are quality-of-life improvements. Outside of getting these to drop naturally, you can craft Mythics so you won't be stuck farming them forever.

Drop Details

• You must be in at least Torment 1
• Tormented Bosses, Duriel, and Andariel have 5 chances to drop a Mythic Uniques at 1.5% chance each. This means they can drop multiple Mythic Uniques at a time!
• Mythic Uniques always drop at item power 800, meaning they always have at least one greater affix
• Mythic Uniques always drop with maximum roll ranges on their affixes.
• Some Mythic Uniques can only drop for certain classes as they are based on which items you can equip.

Crafting Mythics

Mythic Uniques are craftable in one of two ways:

• Using 2 Resplendent Sparks and crafting a random one at the Blacksmith.
• Using 2 Resplendent Sparks in combination with specific runes to craft a specific Mythic Unique at the Alchemist.

These crafting materials are acquired by either salvaging Mythic Uniques or completing the Season Journey.
