Welcome to the Urivar Boss Guide. Here you will find all the information to gather Boss Lair Keys, summon the Boss, and successfully defeat it.

Boss Location
Urivar can be summoned within his arena in the Fields of Judgement within the deep jungle of Nahantu. To challenge him, use the quick travel option by clicking the Fields of Judgement, or travel there normally using the Kichuk Waypoint.
Boss Mechanics and Strategy
Pay attention to the attacks used by Urivar! The following section guides you through the boss's most dangerous abilities.
Urivar's Abilities
Initially, Urivar attacks you directly, but as the fight progresses, he summons spears and calls for his Knights for aid to bring justice to the world of Sanctuary.
Rain of Justice
Urivar conjures a trail of spears above the player, causing them to lodge into the ground where the player is standing.
- Watch for the circle underneath you, and move in a tight circle to prevent them from covering a large area.
Unleash Justice
Urivar attaches himself to the player, slowing them down significantly, and launches his swords towards the target.
- Make sure all the swords from Rain of Justice are tightly packed as their locations heavily impact where they are flying from.
Overhead Strike
Urivar raises his sword far above his head before striking the ground before him, causing the ground to get covered in fire dealing damage over time to targets within its effect.
- Position yourself to quickly step out of the area of effect on the ground.
Desperate Prayer
Urivar kneels on the ground and summons 8 spears, pulsating once upon arrival before returning to Urivar.
- As the circles appear, step away from them and do not stand between them and the boss.
Summon Knights Penitent
After losing 33% health, Urivar disappears, and the circle of Knights Penitent aids him in combat. Three Knights will join the fight at a time, and they all have one Elite affix each.
- Use AoE skills to dispatch them quickly
Environmental Hazards
After random intervals, Urivar's Knights will become activated and become an environmental hazard.
Focused Fire
Three Knights focuses on the player's location and strikes forward, sending fire in a straight line across the arena.
- As the Knights become activated, make sure to stay mobile to prevent being hit.
- The Knights get a faint green circle around them before launching their fire, keep your eyes on them at all times.
Useful Tips!
Before heading out, consider a quick stop at the Alchemist to pick up a Elixir of Fire Resistance II to help counter his Fire abilities.

Loot Tables and Rewards
Each Boss has a different loot table of Uniques and cosmetic item(s), with a chance of dropping the highly sought-after Mythic Unique items. How loot is distributed and rewarded has been changed with Season 8, and is now tied to using the Boss Lair Keys.
To receive loot, you must use 12x Judicator's Mask to open the Hoard. You get these from completing Kurast Undercity, and they drop regardless of using Tributes. The Hoard will have 2 Unique items in Torment 1, granting one extra for each Torment difficulty increase. You also have a 33% chance to get 1 additional item per party member.
Unique Loot table
Just like the other bosses in the Boss Lair, this boss has a loot table of Unique items. However, we are not currently sure what items specifically drop from Urivar. Once this has been discovered, this section is updated to reflect the entire loot table.
Mythic Uniques
- All bosses have a chance to drop Mythic Unique items.
- These items are very powerful and very rare.
Most endgame builds use one of these items. Thankfully, the Boss ladder encounters have a greater chance of dropping them. This means you can focus on any boss that drops regular Unique items you are looking to obtain or upgrade while still having a chance at a Mythic Unique.

Cosmetic Reward
It is currently unknown if Urivar has an exclusive cosmetic reward when you defeat him.
