Hydrahedron Runemaster Guide

Season 2

Last Updated:April 17, 2025|Changelog|FAQ

Welcome to the Hydrahedron Runemaster Guide. Fill the battlefield with fiery octahedrons that spew a deadly rain of Fire Projectiles that incinerate everything in the area! Combine Lightning, Fire, Fire (L,F,F) Runes to conjure Hydrahedron, a powerful Runic Invocation unique to the Runemaster that turns foes into ashes.

Use any Skill to generate Lightning and Fire Runes based on the order of your Skills on the Action Bar, then use Flame Rush, a powerful dash that casts Runic Invocation on use and grants great defensive buffs. Flame Ward is an incredible Defensive Skill with tons of Damage Reduction that can save the Runemaster even from the most dangerous attacks. Frost Wall provides a multitude of Buffs.

This setup doesn't require any Unique to function. However, it is centered around the powerful Reowyn's Fortress, which rewards you from scaling Ward, Armor and Dodge equally. Fundamental Criterion, Telf'un's Mirage, and Box of Hydrae bolsters the builds power, while Red Ring of Atlaria and Omnis are great to increase survivavility.

Overall the Hydrahedron Runemaster is a great build that performs well in the endgame. If you are looking for the classic Fire turret playstyle, this build is perfect for you!

Hydrahedron Runemaster
Hydrahedron Runemaster
  • This setup revolves around Reowyn's Fortress. Aim for as much Dodge, Armor, and Ward as possible on every gear slot.
  • Fundamental Criterion enables Attunement scaling for damage. Use it even without Legendary Potential.
  • Box of Hydrae is an easy pick, providing not only damage, but also Ward.
  • Telf'un's Mirage can greatly increase the amount of Dodge you have. Hydrahedrons cast by Flame Rush benefit from all stats you have while Channeling, making these boots excellent with Reowyn's Fortress.
  • Resistances can be tough to cap early on. Use Idol slots and Resistance Blessing to help. Once you acquire a well-rolled Omnis, gearing for Resistances becomes much easier. Cold, Physical and Void are the priority on Omnis.
  • Penetration with Fire Invocations grants both Damage and Flat Armor, prioritise it. Always try to keep a balanced amount of Ward, Armor, and Dodge for Reowyn's Fortress.
