Hotfix 2 - August 11th, 2023 Patch 1.1.1

Patch 1.1.2 - August 11th, 2023 (Not Live Yet!)

Hotfix 1 - August 9, 2023 Patch 1.1.1

Patch 1.1.1 - August 8th, 2023

Tier Lists Updates

Recent patches have brought balance changes to Classes, Items and Nightmare Dungeons, prompting further adjustments to all of these Tier Lists. Recent changes to Monster Density in Nightmare Dungeons have shaken up that META quite a bit. When looking at the Tier Lists it appears that many Nightmare Dungeons have moved down on the Tier Lists. When in reality the overall experience gained across the board is much higher than before.

New Build Guides & Updates!

We've released 4 new build guides this week and have several more coming soon. Frozen Orb and Fireball Sorcerer are both live now highlighting two iconic playstyles that make quick work of Diablo 4's Endgame. Flurry Rapid Fire Rogue and Double Swing Barbarian round out the new additions well, being 2 of the most powerful endgame builds in the game!

Double Swing Barbarian

The Double Swing Barbarian is the new king of Crowd Control. This build leaves enemies in a worthless state while you slice them to death. You'll Lure Elites in with Challenging Shout to proc Aspect of Audacity, the moment this stun ends you keep them locked down with Ground Stomp. Who's the one with the infinite CC now?!

This build is quite easy to gear up and dominates from early endgame all the way to Tier 100 Nightmare Dungeons. While unfortunately still being locked into the 3 Shout META, it still feels like a Barbarian as you constantly assault your enemies and punish them greatly with your endless Stuns. Currently one of the strongest Barbarian Builds available, it's a must try for fans of the class.

Fireball Sorcerer

Fireball Sorcerer Guide Here ^

The Fireball Sorcerer uses the aforementioned Great Balls of Fire to explode everything in sight. The AoE damage of this build is excellent, but it struggles against tanky enemies like Bosses in high-tier Nightmare Dungeons. In all other types of content this build destroys everything and makes a great show out of it.

Fireball Sorcerer runs the usual repertoire of Defensive Skills, which keep you very safe and tanky until you delve deep into Nightmare Dungeons. There, enemies deal a lot more damage, so you have to kill or Crowd Control enemies before they can kill you.

Flurry Rapid Fire Rogue

The Flurry Rapid Fire Rogue embodies a fast paced jack-of-all-trades playstyle that excels in any situation. Combining two separate Core Skills and tons of mobility you are equipped to deal with anything the hordes of Hell might throw at you. The heart of the build is Flurry, a multi-hit frontal cone attack that transforms into a 360° degree AoE with the Aspect of Encircling Blades. This skill is used 95% of the time to mow down everything in your path with Rapid Fire being used to decimate Elites and Bosses.

The build is generally quite similar to the Pure Flurry setup but solves single target damage in an entirely different way. This guide teaches you all you need to know to succeed with this unique Rogue playstyle.

Frozen Orb Sorcerer

Froze Orb Sorcerer Guide Here ^

Frozen Orb has deep roots in the Diablo franchise. First making a spectacular appearance in Diablo 2, this devastating AoE attack takes no prisoners. The build uses Frozen Orb, Ice Shards, and Inferno to decimate foes from afar.

The Frozen Orb Sorcerer is a highly versatile density destroyer, bringing a solid amount of damage and survivability to the table! It is capable of completing the hardest content in the game! One of the best features of this build is that it does not absolutely require any Unique items to function well in the endgame!

Sever Necromancer (Update)

The Sever Necromancer sends a scythe wielding reaper screaming across the battle-field to eviscerate your enemies up to 4 times. Coupled with the amazing damage output and consistent Crowd Control (CC) of Darkness skills, this Shadow wielding power-house absolutely annihilates. Here's a quick summary of the changes:

  • Added a 1-Hander setup that can incorporate Lidless Wall.
  • Updated Stat Priorities on every Setup and Variant.
  • Added additional info to the Reap FAQ dropdown.
  • Added Greaves of the Empty Tomb to most Setups as Best in Slot.
  • Updated Paragon Board and Glyph Leveling Priority.
  • Updated Corpse Tendrils to Plagued Modifier.
  • Updated Defense Scaling & Hardcore information.
  • Updated recommended Aspects to include Ultimate Shadow over Blood-soaked.

The Chain Lightning Sorcerer puts on a dazzling performance. One of of the most visually impressive builds in the game, this Sorcerer paralyzes and destroys monsters with a barrage of electricity. It has insane mobility and great Speedfarming potential, shredding open world Events and Helltides with ease. Its Nightmare Dungeon pushing capability is also solid. Here's a quick summary of the changes:
