Tips for New Players!
Last Updated:September 26, 2024|Changelog
Welcome to Throne and Liberty! While there are a ton of content to do, it's easy to miss some important information as you're just starting the game. This post will serve to steer you in the right direction with tips for new players.
Daily Content Tips
Party Dungeons, Daily Quests, and even Open World Dungeons are all forms of daily content the game provides with limited access. In other MMOs, there's an "if you don't use it, you lose it" mentality for Dailies; however, in Throne and Liberty, things are different. All these different contents have currency attached which allows the players to either do it all every day or save them for another day should they be too busy to play.
Co-Op Dungeons Tips
Co-Op Dungeons in Throne and Liberty don't actually cost anything to run; however, after killing the final boss there's a treasure chest that costs 300 Dimensional I Contract Token Points to open.
- Every day at reset, you receive 900 Dimensional I Contract Token Points, allowing you to open 3 T1 Dungeon Chests daily.
- The game lets you save up to 4500 Dimensional Tokens, so if you don't feel up to it for the day, feel free to save them for another day. Just make sure you don't sit at the cap.
- Use the Party Board and Party Matchmaking systems to find others with whom to run Dungeons!
- For more in-depth details, check out our Dungeon Guides!
Open World Dungeons Tips
Open World Dungeons serve as special zones where parties can farm higher level mobs with higher HP and enjoy excellent item drops.
- Killing mobs in these zones costs a varying amount of Abyssal Contract Tokens.
- Once you're out of Abyssal Tokens, mobs no longer drop items, nor do you receive EXP and Sollant.
- Every day, you'll receive some Abyssal Tokens however, you can receive even more by doing various content.
- At 20,000 Tokens you can't receive any more so make sure to use some if you're close to the cap!
- For more in-depth details, check out our Open World Dungeons Guide!
Daily Quests Tips
Daily Quests in Throne and Liberty feature "Resistance Contracts", which use a currency called "Contract Rights".
- Every day you get 10 Contract Rights and spend 1 Contract Right to accept 1 daily quest, or "Resistance Contract".
- You can save up to 69 Contract Rights at any given time.
- While leveling, you'll receive additional Contract Rights, so make sure to finish at least 10 Contracts before the first daily reset!
- You can save up to 69 Contract Rights at any given time.
- Contracts grant various ores to craft Recipe: Rare Weapon Growthstone, Recipe: Rare Armor Growthstone, Recipe: Rare Accessory Growthstone, and Recipe: Rare Skill Growth Books.

Gear Progression Tips
Gear progression is fairly straight forward in this game. Do not worry about a third weapon early into the game. Level 2 weapons up first, and after gaining enough gear and proper build, then work towards the third weapon. Furthermore, as you upgrade your first set of gear, do not upgrade one piece fully at a time. Aside from weapons level up your armors equally in the beginning to maximize the usage of your Growthstones.
Precious Weapon Growthstone, Precious Armor Growthstone, and Precious Accessory Growthstone are used to upgrade your gear and increase their stats!
Tips for Getting Growthstones Early
It can be easy to fall behind early on when it comes to getting enough Growthstones to upgrade your gear so here are some methods to stack up a bunch early on!
- Taedal's Tower
- While the Main Story Quest introduces this to you, once you're level 50 go back and complete all remaining floors.
- Visit Sundries Merchants to purchase Allied Resistance Forces Contract Scroll II: Taedal's Tower for additional rewards every week!
- Dungeons
- Both Co-Op and Open World Dungeons grant various ores to craft Growthstones too!
- Exploration Codex
- After you're level 50, head back and start working on various Exploration Codex Quests for additional Growthstones!
- Feel free to work on these whenever you have some free time, as there are a ton of quests per zone!
