Skills Breakdown
Seismic Trap
Release your earth-quaking waves with Seismic Trap. When you time this cooldown based trap right, it unleashes devastating damage on all targets within its radius. Position and timing are the 2 skills required to play with this Trap.
Exsanguinate Trap
Throw your Exsanguinate Trap causing tendrils of blood to reach out towards your closest enemies. Use these tendrils to clear the trash away while mapping so that you can save your Seismic Trap for stronger foes.
Utility And Auras
Use your Malevolence to activate a temporary Aura giving a big damage increase. Keep the advised Aura gems active at all times and remember to reactivate them after dying.
Blade Trap
Throw your Blade Trap onto Map or Pinnacle Bosses to cause your wielded weapons to spin, slice and apply stacks if Wither through Withering Touch Support. Wither causes enemies to take increased Chaos Damage so it's VERY important to keep spinning and slicing the boss while your Seismic Trap deletes the Boss. In general, you should swap your Exsanguinate Traps for a Blade Trap set up when fighting Pinnacle Bosses.
Despair and Temporal Chains
Despair and Temporal Chains are your Curses of choice. These curses very significantly increase your damage output, therefore you should make sure to keep them active at all times on difficult foes.
Ascendancy Breakdown
The Saboteur is our choice as it offers many Trap bonuses and important defensive improvements.
- Born in the Shadows Blinds all nearby enemies & gives you 15% reduced damage taken from Blinded enemies.
- Pyromaniac is our main source of recovery, granting 10% Life Regeneration and Immunity to Ignite and Shock.
- Perfect Crime grants additional damage for each Trap out. Make sure to use many Traps while Seismic is out to boost your damage.
- Chain Reaction for Trap Cooldown Recovery and Area of Effect gives a HUGE boost to overall Seismic Trap damage output.
