Build Info

Petrified Blood

Petrified Blood takes a portion of the hit damage you take while in the Low Life state (50% or less life) and instead causes you to take that damage over time instead. This does a few things for us, namely increasing our maximum hit against damage by allowing the lower 50% of our life pool to have a huge damage prevention against hits. The 2nd thing it does is allow over leech to assist in our recovery alongside the Stun Tech.

The one downside to this gem, is the inability to recovvery life above 50%, except with a Life Flask. This is no issue though, since we can now roll a Terrified Eternal Life Flask of Sealing which combined with Entrench allows constant pressing of the Flask while in Delirium Maps.

Stun Tech

By using well rolled versions of the Bloodnotch + Immutable Force combo alongside the Energy Shield Mastery Stun Threshold is based on 60% of your Energy Shield instead of Life, you can recover a ton of damage from Hits instantly. This makes your Recovery in Delirium much better as you get Hit very often and need the additional recovery source to be comfortable.

Shaper of Flames and Storms

The Ascendancy Passive Shaper of Flames allows all Damage Types to Ignite. This provides many different ways to Scale your Damage, BUT all damage will end up calculated as Fire Damage over Time. Even though a portion of our damage to inflict the Ignite is Cold Damage and Chaos Damage, all Ignites still deal Fire Damage over Time in the end. This also applies to Shaper of Storms which allows all of our Cold Damage and Fire Damage to inflict Shock, increasing the damage enemies take.

Ignite Proliferation + Explosions

This build focuses entirely on spreading strong Ignites through the proliferation modifier found on your gloves Fate Clutches. Because Shaper of Flames allows all Damage Types to Ignite, we can also Ignite off of the Explosion from Oriath's End no matter which element it chooses. This allows for a beautiful cascade of Ignites and Explosions across your entire screen.

Scorched Ground

Make sure to stand ON the Map Boss to inflict the Scorched Ground debuff applied by your Boots. Scorch is an alternate Fire ailment that removes Elemental Resistances from your enemies. Simply roll this modifier with Greater Eldritch Ember or higher ranked Embers on your Boots.

Eldritch Battery

Eldritch Battery makes your Energy Shield a resource to spend alongside Mana. This is extremely helpful since it always recharges and allows you to use Malevolence and Divine Blessing Support for an extra free Aura.

Spell Suppression

Capping your Spell Suppression at 100% is mandatory to mitigate Spell Damage. Do this by obtaining high tier rolls on your Gloves, Boots and Shield alongside the Passive Tree points, Anoint and Watcher's Eye. This ensures you always take 50% of the damage a Spell would normally deal.

Ailment Avoidance

Obtain Shock immunity through the Glove and Ring Crafts, Freeze immunity from the boot Craft, Chill Immunity from 2 Jewel mods, and Ignite mitigation through the Abberath Pantheon.

Pantheon & Bandits

Bandits: Kill all

For information about acquisition, alternatives and upgrading check out our Pantheon Guide!

Lunaris is our Major Pantheon of choice, as it provides Physical Damage Mitigation while Mapping.

Abberath is the Minor Pantheon of choice, as it gives Ignite mitigation and immunity to Burning Ground while farming Searing Exarch Altars.

Mapping

Clearing Maps with Vortex feels like sliding under a comfy blanket on a cold night. It's easy, takes no thought and finally allows you to r e l a x and unpucker in those Delirium Maps. This is ONLY if you use a Regex to filter your modifiers.

Copy and Paste everything RED "non|d el|% ma|gen|tal d|nsecrate|s rec|withe" into the search bar of your Stash tab after rolling all of your Maps for your session. This highlights maps that need to be re-rolled. Press Space + Shift while using Awakened Trade Macro to Save your Regexes and name them for future use.

Map Modifiers to Avoid

The following modifiers are to be avoided if possible:

  • Monsters reflect #% of Elemental Damage
  • Players cannot Regenerate Life, Mana or Energy Shield
  • Players have #% less Recovery Rate of Life and Energy Shield
  • -#% maximum Player Resistances
  • Players have #% reduced effect of Non-Curse Auras from Skills
  • Area has patches of Consecrated Ground
  • Monsters have #% chance to Avoid Elemental Ailments
  • Monsters deal #% extra Physical Damage as Chaos Monsters Inflict Withered for 2 seconds on Hit

Bossing

Use your two Utility abilities Arcanist Brand and Infernal Cry, activate your temporary Malevolence Aura and Stand ON the Boss to apply the Scorched Ground Debuff.

For Endgame Content like Pinnacle Bosses and Ubers it is recommended to create a different build if your looking for something to carry you through these fights. This build is made primarily for mapping with an extreme focus on spreading Ignites and explosions, while mitigating and recovering damage from medium Hits. It preforms perfectly fine against Map Bosses, but do not expect terrific results from Pinnacle/Uber Bosses.

Farming Strategies

First step is to progress through the Atlas following our Atlas Progression Guide. As a mapping focused character we should focus on the mechanics listed below depending on what level of content our character is currently capable of completing. If struggling in higher tier content, it is always recommended to go a step back and farm up more Currency and Gear. Clicking the League Mechanics below leads to either a full Explanation Guide or a detailed Currency Farming Guide based around maximizing profits from that mechanic or content.
