Glacier Sorcerer Guide
This unstoppable Glacier Sorcerer fills the battlefield with huge Cold explosions that shatter enemies. The cascade of blasts unleashed by Glacier destroy everything in their path, while Ice Barrage seeks distant foes.
This build utilizes Lost Knowledge as a core defensive tool and stacks as much Mana as possible to synergize it with Glacier's Critical Rejuvenation and Cold Victory Nodes. Use Flame Ward in dangerous situations, this incredible Defensive Skill provides tons of Damage Reduction that can protect against the most dangerous attacks. Toggle Arcane Ascendance whenever you need extra firepower and use Teleport for mobility.
This setup doesn't require any Unique to function. However, Items like Wrongwarp, Throne of Ambition, Unstable Core, Peak of the Mountain, Transient Rest, Scales of Eterra, Strands of Souls, Red Ring of Atlaria and Orian's Eye turn it into a juggernaut.
Overall the Glacier Sorcerer is an amazing build that performs well in the Endgame. Mana stacking requires investment but the build works fine without it thanks to Glacier's base power. If you are looking for a tanky caster with huge explosions, this build is perfect for you!

Skills
Glacier
Glacier is your main Damage Skill. It has insane Damage Multiplier Nodes like Greater Destruction, Morditas' Bane, Greater Chilling and Endless Frost. This setup focuses on enhancing its third massive explosion as much as possible. With enough Mana, Critical Rejuvenation and Cold Victory allow it to self sustain.
- If Flame Ward's Mental Aegis Node causes you to have Mana issues early on, you can grab the Armor from Frostguard or the Damage from Infusion instead.
Use specialized Focus with Null Infusion over Teleport if you struggle with Mana early on.
Skills showcase extra Skill Points in case you find +Level of Skills that may not be included in the Planners.
Passives
- Calculated Destruction is crucial to raise your Spell Critical Strike Chance.
- Get Lost Knowledge for insane Ward generation.
- Mana Well and Archmage are incredible for the build.
- Rune of Dilation and Essence of Celerity are great for their Movement Speed.
- Sphere of Protection is a great Defensive Passive.
- Chill to the Bone is important to leech Health.
Make sure to complete the Campaign to get all your Passive Points.
Gameplay
- If you have Wrongwarp, buff yourself by casting Teleport.
- Spam Glacier.
- Use Ice Barrage for its buff.
- Toggle Arcane Ascendance whenever you need extra firepower.
Bossing
- All of Glacier's explosions can hit the same target, aim accordingly!
- Take advantage of all your defensive buffs and keep them active.
- Flame Ward can save you from incoming Damage. Time it against dangerous telegraphed Boss attacks.
- Aim to maximize Glacier's third explosion.
- The Ice Barrage setup has 100% pierce chance. Line up enemy packs!
- Use Flame Ward to tank through dangerous attacks and keep your damage uptime.
- Use specialized Focus with Null Infusion over Teleport if you if you struggle with Mana early on.
Gear, Idols & Blessings
- Unstable Core is one of the core Items of the build, as it's loaded with amazing stats. Slam it with Exalted Mana when you find it with Legendary Potential.
- Wrongwarp has tons of amazing stats and allows you to gain a Haste buff that you can extend thanks to Teleport's Comet Rush Node maxed out. It also provides Damage based on your Movement Speed.
- Transient Rest reliably generates tons of Ward. These Unique Boots are the best defensive option and are recommended when starting out the build. Get a Legendary version with T7 Exalted Movement Speed.
- Frostbite Shackles turns your Cold Resistance into additional Ward Retention. The Strands of Souls Unique Belt provides even more Ward scaling.
- Orian's Eye greatly synergizes with the Elemental Damage Reduction from Flame Ward but can be hard to get. Slam it with Exalted Mana when you find it with Legendary Potential.
- Reach the 180 Attribute requirement from Red Ring of Atlaria for the Damage Reduction they provide.
- Get a Legendary Scales of Eterra with Fire and Lightning Infusions. That way you can benefit from the amazing stats on this Unique without any downside to your Cold DPS.
- With enough gear, you can switch to the Damage Dealt to Mana Before Health Variant for a drastic EHP increase. Get a Legendary Seed of Ekkidrasil with T7 Exalted Damage Dealt to Mana Before Health, a well rolled Knowledge of an Erased Mage, Grasp of the Blood Mage, Brewmaster's Buckle and build Endurance to become a giga tank. Consider Blood of the Exile if you need extra Attributes for your Red Rings of Atlaria.

- Ward: Invest into Lost Knowledge in the Passive Tree and build Mana for insane Ward generation.
- Transient Rest reliably generates tons of Ward.
- Frostbite Shackles turns your Cold Resistance into additional Ward Retention.
- Red Rings of Atlaria: Reach the 180 Attribute requirement for the Damage Reduction they provide.
- Orian's Eye greatly synergizes with the Elemental Damage Reduction from Flame Ward.

FAQ & Mechanics
Once a guide is released, many players have questions on why and how we are approaching certain choices. In this section you can find the answers to the questions that have been asked the most.
This setup gets Glacier cost to 45 Mana.
- Glacier can proc Critical Rejuvenation as long as the 3 explosions Hit and Crit.
- Critical Rejuvenation can only proc up to 10 times per second.
Taking into account the 17 Mana Regeneration the build gets, you should consider these breakpoints:
- 1230 Mana: Cast 2 Glacier per second for positive Mana generation.
- 1320 Mana: Cast 3 Glacier per second for positive Mana generation.
- 1630 Mana: Cast 4 Glacier per second for positive Mana generation.
- 2080 Mana: Cast 5 Glacier per second for positive Mana generation.
- 2530 Mana: Cast 6 Glacier per second for positive Mana generation.
If you go for Damage Taken to Mana, don't over build Cast Speed and stay below the suitable breakpoint to sustain. Remember that Cold Victory helps massively while mapping.
