Maxroll Last Epoch Mid-Season Branch Update
Hello Travelers, we hope you are enjoying Tombs of the Erased as much as we are here at Maxroll. To celebrate the first month of Season 2, we’re excited to share a wave of new features, updates, and build guides in our Mid-Season Branch Update. In this update, we will be showing off our improved Loot Filters, with selectable Strictness levels, Tier List Updates, New Build Guides, and a sneak peek at our upcoming Last Epoch Arena Tournaments - bi-weekly competitive events featuring unique build restrictions. Check out the information below for all of the details on what's new and what's coming next.
New Loot Filters
We are excited to announce an updated version of our Loot Filters, which are now available in all Maxroll Planners. You can access these filters through our featured Build Guides or use them independently with any of your own custom Planners.
The new Loot Filters automatically generate a version tailored to your gear, which you can copy to your clipboard and import directly into your game. This version also introduces selectable Strictness levels, allowing you to adjust the filter based on your specific needs.

To use this feature, click the "Loot Filter" button at the top of any Planner. A pop-up will appear with a slider, allowing you to choose your preferred level of Strictness.

You can learn more about the differences between Strictness levels here, in our Understanding Maxroll Loot Filters Guide.
Tier List Updates

We continue to update our Tier Lists as new builds and discoveries emerge in Season 2. Here, we compare all the build guides currently on Maxroll and future guides that our team is working on.
If you are unfamiliar with how our Tier Lists are divided, you can check out this list below.
- The Corruption Tier List is all about how far a build can push when faced with ever-increasing difficulty, with special attention being paid to defenses.
- Bossing is all about single-target damage.
- Speed Farming measures a build's ability to clear Echoes quickly.
- If you hate dying while you progress, check out our Hardcore tier list.
New Build Guides
We’re adding three powerful new Build Guides to our lineup. The Javelin Time Rot Void Knight is available now, with the Lightning Blast Runemaster and Serpent Venom Druid launching in the coming days. Each brings unique strengths and expands your options for high-performing builds.
- Javelin Time Rot Void Knight - This powerful Void Knight build uses Javelin to inflict devastating Time Rot stacks. We use strong synergies between Void Knight's Skills and Passives and the Black Blade of Chaos Unique Item to melt enemies away with potent Damage over Time.
- Lightning Blast Runemaster - This Lightning Blast Runemaster uses Spark Charges and the Fragment of the Enigma Unique Item to unleash devastating damage. It's a simple, fast-paced build - just point, click, and watch enemies melt.
- Serpent Venom Druid - Using the Druid's swift Swarmblade Form, unleash deadly Poison Damage over Time through rapid melee strikes. Its damage rivals other S-Tier builds, allowing it to quickly overwhelm enemies as its toxins begin to stack.
Last Epoch Tournaments and Events
Since the start of Season 2, we’ve been preparing to launch Last Epoch Arena Tournaments. We’re excited to introduce this new event feature on our Last Epoch branch of Maxroll, starting with week-long Arena Wave push events focused on specific Masteries and Skills. Read below to learn what to expect, where to find these tournaments, and how to use our new Leaderboard tools to view any character’s build in the Planner.
How Will Tournaments Work?
Tournaments will begin as Arena Wave push events that run for one week, from Tournament Start to Tournament End. Each event will focus on a specific Mastery and Skill to build around. You can expect to find a new theme to play around with every Tournament. These are Solo Character Found events, ensuring a level playing field for all participants.
After each week-long event, there will be a one-week break before the next Tournament begins. Over time, we plan to expand the variety of challenges by introducing new criteria, such as banned Skills or requiring builds to focus on specific nodes within a Skill Tree.
We’re introducing a new Events tab at the top of our Last Epoch section to support these Tournaments in the coming days, so be sure to check back soon. This will serve as the central hub for all Tournament-related content. Once the first event begins, you’ll find a dedicated post there with:
- A live Leaderboard for that specific Tournament
- Instructions on how to participate
- All of the rules and Character Requirements
View Player Loadouts
You can now click on any character in the Leaderboard to view their full loadout, as long as they’ve linked their Last Epoch Account Name to their Maxroll Account.
Select a character’s name to open their build directly in the Planner, where you can explore every detail of their setup.
