Jabara Boss Guide
Last Updated:June 9, 2025|Changelog
Jabara is the final boss of the Desert Zone in Wizard of Legend 2. She shifts the sands beneath her feet to employ a lethal combination of Earth and Wind magics! This Boss Guide details Jabara's core and enrage mechanics, discusses strategies to avoid these mechanics, and demonstrates how to take her down with an example gameplay video.

Mechanics
- Claws - Jabara unleashes a series of melee attacks. Before each attack, she dashes into position near the player. Time your evade with the red flare and accompanying sound that comes just before each swing to avoid these attacks.
- Spike Volley - Jabara launches 5 projectiles in an arc at the player, first from her right hand, then from her left. These are relatively easy to sidestep by dashing toward her opposite side. As the fight progresses, both the number of projectiles and number of volleys increase.
- Sinkhole - A pair of circular pits form at random spots near Jabara. They persist for a duration but eventually fill.
- Sandstorm - Jabara extends both arms in front of herself as a red warning line appears. Two streams of sand form along the line, then radiate in opposite directions as Jabara stretches her arms perpendicular from their starting point. To avoid this mechanic, it's easiest to jump behind her when you see the lines appear.
- Sand Wall - Jabara launches a fast-moving wall of sand toward the player. If it makes contact, it deals light damage and attempts to push the player into the nearest pit (which includes the edges of this arena).
Enrage Mechanic - On low HP, Jabara may choose to extend the duration of her Sandstorm ability. When she does, she spins in circles at an increasing rate of speed while continuing to channel the streams. This ability is especially hard to time with evades and, if you have an Arcana that grants extended iframes, it's a great time to use it.
Rewards
As a Zone Boss, defeating Jabara awards you with a random Arcana that typically has multiple enhancements already attached. What's more, besting a Zone Boss reveals a Green Portal that leads to a Healing Room, where you can elect to either recover a significant amount of health or increase your maximum health for the remainder of the run.

Summary
You always encounter Jabara at the end of the Desert Zone, the second Zone in Wizard of Legend 2. Many of her attacks are simple enough to avoid, but in particular the cue for her Claw attack and timing for her enraged Sandstorm are worth learning. Defeating her awards you with a random, enhanced Arcana and grants access to a Healing Room where you can choose to either heal for a large amount or increase your maximum HP.
