Earth Lord Terrus is the Earth Elemental Boss in Wizard of Legend 2. About halfway through each of the game's first 3 Zones, you encounter a random Elemental Boss. But since there are more than 3 Elemental Bosses, it's possible you may never encounter Terrus during your run. If you do, though, this Boss Guide details Earth Lord Terrus's core and enrage mechanics, discusses strategies to avoid these mechanics, and demonstrates how to take him down with an example gameplay video.
Terrus bends the earth to his command to unleash a devastating flurry of rock-based spells.

Gameplay Video
Mechanics
- Earth Knuckles - Terrus employs two versions of this Basic Arcana based on distance to the player.
- At medium Range, he performs a short windup before dashing at the player up to two times, covering a sizable distance and dealing moderate damage.
- When initiated at close range, this is transformed into a fast-paced combination attack. The last punch in the series is wider and deals more damage. However, Terrus only travels a fixed distance with each of these swings, and most can be avoided by maintaining distance.
- Earth Wall - Terrus summons two rock walls at random points on the edges of the arena. These walls span the entire width of the arena and move slowly across its entire length. Since both walls envelop all parts of the arena at some point, you must evade through them as they approach your position to avoid damage.
- Leap Slam - Terrus leaps into the air, targeting the player's current location. His point of impact is marked with a red circle. As he lands, 6 small boulders radiate from the landing spot in a hexagonal pattern and bounce until they reach the edge of the arena. Terrus leaps twice in early game encounters, up to 4 times by Zone 3.
Enrage Mechanic - When injured, Terrus returns to the center of the arena before unleashing a massive flurry of projectiles similar to Impaling Drill. These are fired in two distinct patterns: a spiral and a series of concentric circles. Dashes and other iframe mechanics allow you to pass through walls of drills, while Dragon Defense and Water Cushion destroy these projectiles.
Rewards
As an Elemental Boss, defeating Earth Lord Terrus awards you with an Arcane Chromo, used to unlock and upgrade Runes at Nazradin. Further, besting an Elemental Boss reveals an Arcana Crystal that gives you three choices to upgrade one of your existing Arcana to one of their Forgotten Variants.

Summary
Earth Lord Terrus has a chance to spawn roughly halfway through each of Wizard of Legend 2's major zones. Terrus strongly prefers melee combat, and if you maintain distance you can better avoid both versions of Earth Knuckles and his Leap Slam. Defeating him awards you with an Arcane Chromo and the option to upgrade one of your Arcanas to its Variant form.
