Flame Empress Mitra Boss Guide
Last Updated:June 10, 2025|Changelog
Flame Empress Mitra is the Fire Elemental Boss in Wizard of Legend 2. About halfway through each of the game's first 3 Zones, you encounter a random Elemental Boss. But since there are more than 3 Elemental Bosses, it's possible you may never encounter Mitra during your run. If you do, though, this Boss Guide details Flame Empress Mitra's core and enrage mechanics, discusses strategies to avoid these mechanics, and demonstrates how to take her down with an example gameplay video.
The Flame Empress bathes her arena in persistent flames. As one of the harder Elemental Boss fights, it takes extreme focus to come out unscathed.

Mechanics
- Flame Jets - Mitra dives at the player's location twice in quick succession, dealing no damage initially, but summoning a wide array of Flame Jets across the length of the arena each time. The pace of these attacks make them difficult to dodge, but try to dash perpendicular to the arrays as they form. In later zones, each dive is accompanied by 3 small meteors at random locations across the arena.
- Dragon Arc - The Flame Empress wields a special variant of this Standard Arcana. She summons a vortex of 15 Dragon Heads from her location. A well-timed dash toward the boss avoids the onslaught, but if you're already at range, you can also choose to widen the gap to give the Heads time to spread further apart.
- Meteor - A large red circle appears over your head and tracks your movement for a short time. When it stops tracking you, a gigantic meteor is released at the target location. Use any available movement at this time to avoid damage.
- Bicycle Kick - Mitra unleashes a flurry of 3 kicks toward the player, each of which create a crescent-shaped AoE in front of her (similar to Flame Strike). At the end, she backflips away from the player, unleashing a volley of projectiles not unlike Flare Rush. The initial barrage is fairly simple to sidestep, and you can dash as she backflips to avoid the flares.
Enrage Mechanic - When damaged, Flame Empress Mitra levitates off the ground, becoming immune, and summons a sequence of Dragon Heads in many possible locations at the edge of the arena. These Heads create Inferno Beams across the length of the arena and sweep either clockwise or counterclockwise, irrespective of their starting position. The result is an absolute mess of fire that engulfs much of the arena for the duration. If you have abilities with extended iframes, now is the time to use them.
Rewards
As an Elemental Boss, defeating Flame Empress Mitra awards you with an Arcane Chromo, used to unlock and upgrade Runes at Nazradin. Further, besting an Elemental Boss reveals an Arcana Crystal that gives you three choices to upgrade one of your existing Arcana to one of their Forgotten Variants.

Summary
Flame Empress Mitra has a chance to spawn roughly halfway through each of Wizard of Legend 2's major zones. Her high damage and massive area of effect Arcana make her very difficult to handle, with the Flame Jets, Bicycle Kick and Enrage Mechanic presenting the greatest threats. Defeating her awards you with an Arcane Chromo and the option to upgrade one of your Arcanas to its Variant form.
