Every league brings new Divination Cards, and the first of these cards coming in 3.23 is Assassin's Gift.

What would you do with a Spell Damage / Power Charge on Crit Divinarius?
The Divinarius Rune Dagger is a Unique spellcaster weapon often utilized by Trappers and Miners to take advantage of the +100% to Global Critical Strike Multiplier for Spells if you Haven't Killed Recently. If you collect a full set of Assassin's Gift you'll get a double corrupted version with 2 implicit modifiers. For the best possible outcomes, turn this in on a character level 30 and below to remove many low value Local damage modifiers from the pool.
Doing so results in the following 12 outcomes:
- (9–11)% chance to gain a Frenzy Charge on Kill
- (5–7)% chance to gain a Power Charge on Critical Strike
- (10–15)% chance to gain Unholy Might for 3 seconds on Kill
- +(25–30)% to Global Critical Strike Multiplier
- (50–60)% increased Damage over Time
- Adds (1–2) to (3–5) Chaos Damage (local)
- Adds (6–8) to (13–15) Cold Damage (local)
- Adds (8–10) to (15–18) Fire Damage (local)
- Adds (1–2) to (27–28) Lightning Damage (local)
- (5–7)% increased Attack Speed (local)
- (14–18)% increased Critical Strike Chance (local)
- (50–60)% increased Spell Damage
All 12 are equally weighted, so your odds of getting 1 good implicit is pretty good, but the odds of getting 2 good implicit modifiers isn't great.
Tenkiei's Thoughts
I'm not too excited for Assassin's Gift. Divinarius is an extremely rare Unique, claimed to be about as rare as Mageblood or Headhunter. The stats are pretty good too, the crit multi makes it competitive with a high end crafted dagger. But this card is probably going to be so rare, it might as well not exist. If I get an Assassin's Gift, there's going to be a little voice in the back of my head whispering "that could have been an The Apothecary" souring the experience.
But let's pretend for a moment that enough of these drop, what's the GG combination you should look out for? I'd look for 50-60% Spell Damage + 25-30% to Critical Strike Multiplier, or Power Charge on Critical Strike if I'm using Divinarius on a self-cast build.
