Getting Your Base
Buy an Axe with Fractured (155-169)% increased Physical Damage (Tier 2+) or (26-27)% increased Attack Speed (Tier 1). The best bases to choose from are:
- Despot Axe
- Ezomyte Axe (budget option)
Tip: Use Perfect Fossils to increase the quality before crafting. This will increase the base Physical Damage of the Axe.
Essences of Contempt
Use Deafening Essence of Contempt until you see at least (35-44)% increased Physical Damage, +(73-97) to Accuracy Rating (Tier 5) or higher of this increased Physical Damage mod.
After getting the Hybrid increased Physical Damage. You need to use Orbs of Annulment until you are down to just these 3 modifiers on your item. You can use Cannot Roll Attack Mods to assist with this step since it will protect your Physical Damage mods.
Finishing Up
Finish by benchcrafting Can have up to 3 Crafted Modifiers then (8-10)% chance to deal Double Damage and (100-129)% increased Physical Damage or (16-20)% increased Attack Speed depending on what you are missing.
Getting Your Base
Buy an Axe with Fractured (65-79)% increased Physical Damage, +(150-200) to Accuracy Rating (Tier 2+). The bases to choose from are:
- Despot Axe
- Ezomyte Axe (budget option)
Essences of Contempt
Use Deafening Essence of Contempt until you see a (26-27)% increased Attack Speed (Tier 1). This is a 1/61 chance with a Fractured Prefix.
If you somehow Essence into Tier 3+ increased Physical Damage, you can simply clear your Suffixes and benchcraft Can have 3 Crafted Modifiers then #% chance to deal Double Damage and #% increased Attack Speed to finish!
Removing Extra Mods
You will need 2 open Suffixes and 1 open Prefix before using a Veiled Orb. Use Orbs of Annulment if you have extra modifiers. If you remove either the Attack Speed or Physical Damage, go back to Step 2.
Veiled Orb
Benchcraft Prefixes Cannot be Changed then use a Veiled Orb . If the Orb removes your Tier 1 increased Attack Speed, you'll need to go back to Step 2.
Unveiling
If the Orb adds a Veiled Prefix, simply unveil an increased Physical Damage Prefix. (120-139)% increased Physical Damage, (21-25)% chance to Impale Enemies on Hit with Attacks is the best choice if given the option.
If the Orb adds a Veiled Suffix, benchcraft any (5-6)% increased Damage per Charge Suffix then unveil (12-14)% chance to deal Double Damage. If she doesn't give you this option you'll need to use an Orb of Annulment for a 1/3 chance at removing whatever Veiled modifier you were given before using another Veiled Orb. If you miss go back to Step 2.
Finishing Up
If you unveiled a Prefix, benchcraft +(15-19) to Strength and Intelligence, (15-20)% increased Critical Strike Chance then use an Exalted Orb for a chance at adding anything useful as your last modifier.
Finish by benchcrafting whichever modifier you didn't Unveil. Your Axe is now complete!
