The Impending Doom Occultist Curses enemies, Poisoning them and causing a chain reaction of Chaos explosions to clear the entire screen in a very satisfying manner.
This build is designed to start a fresh league with, meaning you can start from having no currency and clear most if not all the content. Doom Blast
Casting Temporal Chains applies the Impending Doom Support debuff. When the curse expires or is removed, this debuff triggers Doom Blast an explosion dealing Chaos Damage in an area when the curse expires.
Ascendancy Breakdown
The Occultist is the best choice for Poison Impending Doom Support as it provides explosions for great clear, and an additional curse. It also gives an easy way to cap your Chaos Resistance whilst reducing enemies Resistances and additional free applications of Wither stacks for even more damage.
- Profane Bloom causes cursed enemies to have a 50% chance to explode on death dealing a quarter of their Maximum Life to nearby enemies.
- Void Beacon gives nearby enemies -20% to Chaos Resistance and prevents them from regenerating Life.
- Withering Presence applies a Wither stack to nearby enemies for every second you are near them, gives you +60% to Chaos Resistance, and makes you deal 15% more Chaos Damage.
- Unholy Authority allows you to inflict an additional Curse on enemies, and your curses to bypass monster curse immunity.
- Once you have a pair of Vixen's Entrapment, swap Unholy Authority to Vile Bastion. This Ascendancy notable grants stun immunity while you have energy shield, and a large amount of Energy Shield regeneration.
