Hildebrandt Palace Abyssal Dungeon Guide
Introduction
Hildebrandt Palace is the last TIER 1 Abyssal Dungeon and you need to be at least 460 Item Level to enter this Abyssal Dungeon. This dungeon drops Tier 1 Accessories, Ability Stones, Engraving Books, Cards and materials to craft the Sets Enraged Nature Launcher and Boisterous Elemental Launcher. After clearing the dungeon, you can pay gold to get additional loot. The recommended Combat Items are HP Potion, Splendid Whirlwind Grenade, Splendid Swift Robe and Time Stop Potion.
In this Abyssal Dungeon you have to fight against the Phantom Legion Queen along with 2 separate phased boss battles against Brelshaza. This dungeon requires all the skill sets introduced in previous Abyssal Dungeon: coordination, timing and positioning are required to be victorious.
This guide assumes that you are familiar with the recommended Raid Build for your class.
First Boss: Phantom Legion Queen
The Phantom Legion Queen is an agile boss with varius teleport and dash skills. This makes the encounter more difficult for classes with long skill animation and preparation time. Additionally she also has a one shot mechanic which requires positional awareness and coordination.
Special Interactions & Patterns
Dark Wave
The Phantom Legion Queen teleports to the center of the arena and starts levitating when she has around 8 and 5 HP bars remaining. While she is levitating, she takes reduced damage and spawns mirrors with specific colors at the edge of the battleground. There are always 2 mirrors with the same color which act as a portal. Eg.: Interacting with one of the red mirrors, teleports you to the location of the other red mirror. The mirrors will always be in the same spots but the color distribution is random.
Shortly after the Queen starts levitating, she spawns 2 dark waves. The first wave usually moves from top right to bottom left or vice versa. Soon after the first wave reaches its destination and disappears, the boss spawns a second dark wave moving from top left to bottom right or vice versa. Getting hit by the wave deals massive damage.
To survive this mechanic, you need to interact with a mirror so you can teleport to a location where the dark wave has already passed. Make sure to check the color of the mirrors where the first dark wave spawns and try to find a match at the opposite side of the battleground.
Tips:
- Avoid interacting with the purple mirror, it is the only color that teleports the player to the center of the battleground.
- Don't interact with the mirrors too early, otherwise you might get teleported to the paired mirror while the dark wave is still around it. The ideal time to interact is usually when the dark wave is close to the Queen in the center.
Dark Rotation
The boss spawns a massive red telegraph below her with only one cone shaped safe spot, move immediately to that spot. At the same time two dark floating orbs spawn close to the Queen and move away from her while spinning either clockwise or counterclockwise.
Soon after, the boss starts to levitate and sends out 4 massive shockwaves around her in short intervals, hitting everything outside the cone shaped safe spot. After each shockwave the safe spot moves clockwise or counterclockwise based on the rotation direction of the 2 orbs which spawned at the start of this pattern.
To survive this mechanic you need to move towards the next safe spot after each shockwave. Moving too early or too late increases the chance of getting hit by the shockwave which deals high damage on hit.
Slower classes should use Swiftness Robe to reach the next safe spot in time.
General Patterns
Shockwave
The Phantom Legion Queen sends out cone shaped shockwaves left and right of her which knock up and knock back the player on hit.
There are 2 additional variants of this skill where the Queen sends out 3 or even 4 shockwaves. The 3 shockwave variant is the only variant with a safe spot in close proximity around the boss.
Triple Dash
The boss dashes 3 times successively and finishes the combo with the 2 cone shaped Shockwave attacks.
Backstep
The boss dashes backwards and performs the 2 cone shaped Shockwave attack at the end.
Frontal Spheres
The boss shoots 3 spheres towards a player which deal low damage and stagger on hit.
Dark Explosion
The Phantom Legion Queen spawns multiple dark circles at random locations around her which explode after a short delay and knock up everyone on hit.
Dark Geyser
The boss summons a sequence of dark geysers towards a player. On hit, the player is knocked up and back. The closer you are to the boss, the higher the chance that you get hit by this attack multiple times in a row.
Red Spheres
A player is marked with a red aura which lasts for 5 seconds. Once the aura disappears, it spawns 8 outwards expanding spheres from the marked players location. On hit the orbsdeal low damage to the player.
As the marked player, you should move towards the edge of the battleground to reduce the amount of red spheres moving towards your teammates.
Mini Dark Wave
Once the boss has low HP, she starts to spawn small dark waves similar to the Dark Wave attack pattern. The major difference is that these waves won't one shot you and have gaps which act as a safe spot.
Brelshaza Phase 1
The second boss of the Abyssal Dungeon Hildebrandt Palace is Brelshaza. This Phase 1 encounter has no team wipe or one shot mechanics, instead you have to survive a mechanic where your movement skills are put to the test.
Special Interactions & Patterns
Rolling Boulders
At the 14th and 6th HP bar, Brelshaza teleports to the center of the battleground and tilts the entire battleground by 45°. At the same time huge dark boulders start to spawn at the top of the battleground and roll towards the bottom. At the bottom, there are rotating blades which will deal continuous damage to everyone nearby.
The boulders knock you up and push you towards the rotating blades on hit. To prevent the knock up, you can use spacebar for recovery or to dodge through the boulders.
A few seconds after the start of this mechanic, a red mark appears below one of the players. This player needs to stay close to the boss because 5 seconds after the mark appears, a meteorite descends towards the marked player. That meteorite needs to hit the boss to interrupt this mechanic. If the marked player gets pushed away from the boss by the dark boulders, the meteorite can miss and you have to wait until another player gets the red mark.
Tips:
- Focus more on dodging the boulders and less on dealing damage to the boss.
- There are fast and slow rolling boulders. If two side by side boulders are rolling towards you, identify the slower one and stay in it's path until the faster one passes by.
- If you get the red mark, you can move close to the boss and use your awakening skill to prevent getting knocked up and away by the dark boulders. The Time Stop Potion (Bound) can be useful in this situation too.

General Patterns
Teleport
The boss teleports to a nearby location and deals low damage to players in close vicinity. The boss's movement direction can be tracked by the HP bar.
Dark Explosion
Brelshaza spawns multiple dark circles at random locations around her which explode after a short delay and knock up everyone on hit.
Cross Sphere
One sphere spawns at each cardinal direction and moves towards the Boss. Once the spheres reach the boss, a second wave of spheres are sent out from the boss towards the edge of the battle ground.
The second wave of orbs can be dodged by moving to where the first wave of orbs passed by initially.
Dark Trail
Brelshaza summons a dark trail in front of her. After a short delay dark thorns appear out of the trail and knock up on hit.
Shrapnel Sphere
The boss shoots a sphere towards a player which splits into 4 smaller pieces after traveling a short distance. On hit, the spheres deal low damage and stagger the player.
Light Explosion
Brelshaza spawns multiple small light spheres in a big cone shaped area in front of her. Shortly after the orbs start to explode counterclockwise pattern and knock up the player on hit.
Dreamcage
Brelshaza spawns multiple illusions of herself around the main body. Each illusion sends out a small cone shaped shockwave in front of it and imprisons players on hit.
The imprisonment can be lifted by attacking the imprisoned player or waiting for 3 seconds until it disappears.
Sphere Carousel
Multiple spheres spawn and start to circle above the boss. The boss shoots these spheres in 2 waves towards a random location. The first wave is targeted at areas further away from the boss and the second wave is in close proximity. On impact, the spheres deal damage and knock back the player.
Brelshaza Phase 2
During Phase 2 Brelshaza keeps the general attack patterns of Phase 1 and acquires some new attacks. Additionally, you have to clear 2 wipe mechanics that are both repeated twice. And as if that wasn't enough, this boss battle gets significantly more difficult the longer the battle lasts.
Special Interactions & Patterns
Stagger Check
At the 34th and 26th HP bar, Brelshaza gains a shield which can be destroyed by using skills and Combat Items with the Stagger affix like Whirlwind Grenade. If you fail to destroy the shield in time, the boss deals high damage to the entire party.
Tips:
- Make sure to save skills with high Stagger shortly before Brelshaza reaches the 34th or 26th HP bar
- Be aware that the boss will always teleport to the center of the battleground before the 2nd Stagger mechanic at 26th HP bar.
Enlighten the Darkness
At the 16th HP bar, a player is surrounded by a light aura. Above that player's head 3 black orbs are displayed. Out of the remaining 3 players 2 light lines appear which slowly collapse into one straight line. This line needs to point towards and touch the player with the 3 black orbs above their head. Those 3 players have 10 seconds to point the laser line correctly. After 10 seconds a huge meteorite descends on the player with the 3 black orbs and deals massive damage in a huge area.
If you complete this mechanic before the 10 second mark, the 3 black orbs will be lit and everyone can run away from the meteorite's impact area. If a single player fails to point the light line correctly, everyone is imprisoned and pulled towards the player with the 3 black orbs. This often leads to a wipe.
This mechanic is repeated once more at the 8th HP bar and is mostly the same with one exception. Instead of a light line in front of the player, you might get a huge circle behind a player. In that case the circle needs to be placed below the player marked with the 3 black orbs within 10 seconds.
Tips:
- The player with the 3 orbs above the head shouldn't move at all during the 10 seconds, this makes it easier for the other players to point the line or place the circle correctly.
- To point the line correctly, move to a spot about 4-5 steps away from the player with the 3 black orbs then simply auto attack once towards that player. If you have the circle, auto attack towards the opposite direction of that player.
- If you fail this mechanic you can use the awakening skill, Time Stop Potion or a well timed spacebar dodge to prevent the pull and imprisonment.
- At the 16th HP bar you can sacrifice the player marked with the 3 black orbs by standing at the opposite corners. Doing so allows the 3 remaining players to out range the pull and imprisonment. I don't recommend doing this, because this method won't work later at the 8th HP bar. This is because The Collapse pattern reduces the battle area significantly which in return doesn't give you enough space to out range the pull and imprisonment.
General Patterns
The Collapse
Shortly after first Enlighten the Darkness pattern, the battleground starts to collapse from the edges. This reduces the space by a lot over time. Additionally, narrow dark waves move from top to bottom of the battleground in short intervals. On hit the waves deal low damage.
Enhanced Dark Trail
The Dark Trails attack pattern from Phase 1 is enhanced and gets 3 additional variants.
- Multiple lines of trails spawn one after another.
- Brelshaza spawns  a cone shaped dark puddle in front of her. Thorns will appear from the center of the cone and expand towards the edge.
- Multiple ring shaped dark puddles appear around the boss. After a short delay a cluster of thorns appear from the dark puddles at the same time.
The Isolation
The boss summon a ring which isolates the players. Touching the edge of the ring deals continuous damage. The ring shrinks over time before it disappears.
The Bubble
Brelshaza summons a bubble on each player which collapses after 5 seconds and remains stationary for a while. On hit the stationary bubble deals damage and staggers the player.
Enhanced Light Explosion
Brelshaza spawns multiple small light spheres in a cone shaped area on both sides. Shortly after the orbs will to explode counterclockwise and knock up the player on hit.
Dark Portals
Four dark portals appear and each of them aim towards a specific player. After a short delay, a big boulder flies out of each portal and deals high damage on hit to everything in its path.
