Relics are a crucial part of your loadout in Wizard of Legend 2. They provide unique effects that can enhance your survivability, increase your damage, modify your Arcanas or ensure that you never run out of gold. You should either choose a Relic that complements the rest of your starting loadout or a versatile one like BerserKing Sandwich, which works well with any build you create during your run.
Check out the Events Guide to learn more about the different sources of Chaos Gems.
Relic Trader & Merchant
During your Trial, you might encounter one of 2 Vendors, who can provide you with new Standard Relics. If you are ready to pay the price, you might get something powerful in return, which can help you to clear the following trials.
Prince Viridis, The Relic Trader

You can give Prince Viridis, The Relic Trader, 1 of the Relics you currently own. In exchange, he lets you pick a Standard Relic from the random selection he offers in return. This is a great opportunity to get rid of a less useful Relic and possibly get a powerful one that complements your build, or a way to lose what you had and end up with a selection of bad Standard Relics instead. Gamble wisely!
Artisan Hasher, the Relic Merchant

Artisan Hasher, the Relic Merchant, is less about gamble and more about the shiny gold! If you like what he offers, you simply have to pay the adequate price to make it your own. Additionally, he also sells Health, which heals both you and any allies you have in multiplayer.
If you would like to learn more about the different Merchants and Traders you can encounter during the trial, check out the NPCs and Vendors Guide.
Events

Apart from NPCs and Vendors, you can also obtain useful Relics from random events you encounter in your trials. Luckily, you don't have to pay anything in return. You only need to defeat waves of monsters to claim a Standard Relic as your reward. Below is a list of encounters that reward you with a Relic.
- Regular Chest - Defeat waves of monsters to obtain a random Standard Relic.
- Mimic Chest - Destroy it before it defeats you to claim your reward!
- Pinata Event - Break it before it heals to earn an Arcana or Relic as a reward. If you lack damage, charge your Signature Arcana on other monsters first, then run back to the Pinata and initiate with that Arcana for a stronger attack.
- Relic Altar - Slay waves of monsters to unlock and select 1 of 3 random Standard Relics it offers.
Doctor Song's Relics

As the name implies, Doctor Song, the Arcana Researcher is less interested in Relics and more focused on your Arcanas. Give her one of your Standard Arcanas, and in return, she gives you some Healing Orbs and a powerful Relic. The Relics she provides are unique and cannot be obtained from any other sources.
Here is a list of unique Relics you can obtain from Doctor Song:
- Bead of Blood
- Blessed Lanovian Vase
- Blossomed Spirit Leaf
- Elixir of Might
- Healing Pod
- Prescription Bottle
- Sampling Needle
- Tiny Spirit Charm
- Tiny Spirit Heirloom
- Vampiric Lust
- Yoga Mat
Cursed Relics

During your Trial, you might come across a purple portal. Entering it can lead you to the realm under the control of Nox, the Unfortunate. After you defeat all the monsters, Nox appears before you, offering a random selection of Cursed Relics. You can pick one for free, but be mindful of the downsides it brings. Fortunately, the huge benefits they provide are often worth bearing the curse.
Here is a list of Cursed Relics you can obtain from Nox:
- Blinding Binoculars
- Chipped Golden Armor
- Cracked Core
- Crimson Clover
- Crown of Cyrus
- Cursed Drum
- Cursed Skull
- Cursed Spectral Hourglass
- Dark Katana
- Double Edge Cestus
- Globe of the Magi
- Grand Master Blindfold
- Kaveh's Hammer
- Large Red Button
- Leech’s Locket
- Magic Dice
- Mordeon's Necklace

- Prayer Beads
- Red Rusty Nail
- Ripped Arcane Scroll
- Sharpened Stylus
- Spine of an Archmagi
- Star Badge
- Tome of Concentration
- Wizard Instruction Manual
- Zurvan's Diadem
Once you select a Cursed Relic from Nox, the Unfortunate, you cannot drop or remove it from your loadout until the trial is over. So choose wisely!
Relics of Legend
Some Relics are part of a Relic Set. Once you have the required Relics in your loadout, they automatically fuse into a powerful Relic of Legend. You should always be aware of all the possible combinations to create a Relic of Legend, as these can be game-changers. However, keep in mind that for most Relic Sets, at least one of the required Relics is Cursed and can only be obtained from Nox, the Unfortunate.
If you want to increase your chances of obtaining all the Relics needed for a specific Relic of Legend, you can take one of its components as a Starting Relic. In the case of Spectral Hourglass, you could take Zurvan's Broken Crown or Zurvan's Crest as your Starting Relic.
Here is a list of Relics of Legend and their components:
- Ahriman’s Hands: Djinn’s Right Hand + Imp’s Left Hand
- Armor of the Golden Tears: Chipped Golden Armor + Golden Tearstone
- Grand Master Third Eye: Blinding Binoculars + Grand Master Blindfold
- Mordeon's Amulet: Mordeon's Necklace + Mordeon’s Gem
- MVP's Badge: Star Badge + Star Trinket
- Set of the Magi: Globe of the Magi + Robe of the Magi + Fist of the Magi
- Spectral Hourglass: Cursed Spectral Hourglass + Spectral Key + Spectral Trinket
- The Dark Katana of Woe: Dark Katana + Bead of Woe + Red Katana Tassel
- Zurvan’s Crown: Zurvan's Diadem + Zurvan's Broken Crown + Zurvan's Crest
Summary
- Relics enhance survivability, damage, and resource management. You can unlock Starting Relics at Madame Moulin, the Relic Historian, using Chaos Gems earned during trials.
- During the Trial, Relics can be obtained through merchants, traders, and random events, such as defeating waves of monsters at a Relic Altar.
- Doctor Song, the Arcana Researcher, provides Healing Orbs and exclusive Relics in exchange for a Standard Arcana. These Relics are powerful and cannot be acquired anywhere else.
- Entering a purple portal can lead to Nox, who offers Cursed Relics that grant immense power at a cost. Once selected, these Relics cannot be dropped or removed until the trial is completed.
- Collecting specific Relic Sets triggers powerful synergies, significantly boosting your performance. Since many Relics of Legend require at least one Cursed Relic, planning ahead by selecting a Starting Relic increases the chances of assembling a complete set.
