NPCs and Vendors in Wizard of Legend 2
Last Updated:June 9, 2025|Changelog
Both the central hub and the Trials themselves have a variety of NPCs and Vendors for you to meet. Some of them provide combat challenges, but most are vendors, selling you metaprogression and upgrades within your run. Save up your gold, grab some Chaos Gems, and hold onto your Arcane Chromos as there's a lot of things to spend them on.
The Talking Mirror
Interact with the Talking Mirror to select your Medallion or spend Chaos Gems to unlock new ones. You begin with the Basic Wizard Medallion, which provides no bonuses, but other Medallions provide powerful build-defining effects.

Serjik the Arcana Mentor
Speak to Serjik, the Arcana Mentor, to unlock new Arcanas. This wizard is always up for a fight, and if you give him a few Chaos Gems, he is happy to provide wizards with more spells to use in their trials. Change your loadout, or add something new by speaking to Tomi, the Living Spellbook, who hangs out near Serjik. Combine the powers of Air, Lightning, Fire, Water, and Earth to create your own build. During your run, you can find Enhancements and Variant Arcanas to improve your spells, but sadly, these do not carry over from run to run.

If you enter a purple portal and encounter a Wizard running an illegal tournament, it's definitely not Serjik. Ignore the fact that these two completely unrelated Wizards look, speak, and act identically!
You cannot purchase Chaos Arcana from Serjik; these are earned by defeating the game's final boss in Stage 4-1.
Madame Moulin, the Relic Historian
Spend your Chaos Gems with Madame Moulin, the Relic Historian, to purchase a variety of relics. Then head over to Mimi the Relic Bank to select the Relic you take into your next run. During your trial, you can find more Relics and equip up to a maximum of 10.

Nazradin, the Trials Warden
Speak to Nazradin, the Trials Warden, to use materials earned through killing bosses to purchase Runes. Then equip Rune effects and adjust the difficulty you face in the Trials. On lower difficulties, you get more positive Runes, whereas the higher difficulties give more Chaos Gems in exchange for running dangerous negative Runes. Arcane Chromo is used to purchase and upgrade positive Runes.

Altheia, the Taskboard Clerk
Between your runs, be sure to check back with Altheia, the Taskboard Clerk. She has a wide variety of tasks for you to complete. You can turn these in for more metaprogression materials, including numerous Chaos Gems that you can use to unlock new Medallions, Arcanas, and Relics. Unlike many of the other NPCs and Vendors in Wizard of Legend 2, there is no unique system tied to Alethia. She simply gives you currencies that are useful for your other metaprogression systems.

Artisan Hasher, the Relic Merchant
Artisan Hasher, the Relic Merchant, sells a variety of Relics. In addition, he also sells Health, which heals both you and any allies you have in multiplayer. Keep an eye out for synergistic relics because this is a great way to get an early power spike.

Virtuoso Farren, the Arcana Merchant
Virtuoso Farren, the Arcana Merchant, sells a variety of spells. If you purchase a basic, dash, or signature Arcana, it swaps with whatever you currently have equipped. But remember, you can use up to 3 standard Arcana and only take 1 into your run. So this is a great opportunity to pick up 2 powerful new spells to help you overcome the Trials.

Esme, the Arcana Painter
Esme, the Arcana Painter, sells various enhancements for your Arcana. In general, these enhancements aren't as impactful as the other things you can spend gold on in the early game, but it's still worth checking her shop in case you find something desirable, like damage to elites and bosses. After you obtain 3 Standard Arcanas and a full complement of Relics, Esme is a great source of additional power.

Azul, the Arcana Trader
Give Azul, the Arcana Trader, one of your unwanted Arcana to exchange it for a different one of the same type. Azul offers Arcana with enhancements and each option typically has several enhancement levels. This is a bit hit or miss, but can be a good way to get rid of an unwanted Arcana.

Prince Viridis, the Relic Trader
Give Prince Viridis, the Relic Trader, 1 of 3 Relics, and then pick a Relic from the random selection he offers in return. Since many Relics are build enabling, you might get something awesome, or be offered a selection of things that don't work for your build at all.

Doctor Song, the Arcana Researcher
Doctor Song, the Arcana Researcher, is always interested in new Arcanas. You can give her one of your Standard Arcanas to receive a unique Relic and some healing in exchange. These Relics have powerful effects, for example, the Yoga Mat further increases the maximum HP you can get from the Fountain Room at the end of a zone. Doctor's Song's Relics focus on healing and health recovery.

Mysterious Wizard
The mysterious Wizard resides within the Trials; he's a combat aficionado who is always up for a friendly challenge. Complete his events to obtain a variety of rewards ranging from gold to powerful Arcana. Unlike the other NPCs and Vendors on this list, there are several different outcomes when you encounter the mysterious Wizard.

- Challenge - Kill enemies without getting hit or defeat foes within 20 seconds to earn gold.
- Friendly Duel - if you can defeat the Wizard in a friendly duel, you may earn one of his Arcanas.
- Golem battle - team up with the Wizard against a Golem, defeat it for a variety of rewards.
Nox, the Unfortunate
You never quite know where you're going to end up when entering a purple portal. One of the outcomes is a mysterious realm where you fight through waves of enemies before Nox, the Unfortunate, appears to offer you a Cursed Relic. Unlike normal Relics, Cursed Relics have both an upside and a downside, but at least they're free, and who can complain about a little curse to go with your free Relic? Several of the Relic Sets of Legend require Cursed Relics, so pay close attention to his offerings.
