Events in Wizard of Legend 2

As you explore the Trials, there are a variety of events to encounter. Most of these involve combat in one form or another and all of them offer rewards for Wizards daring enough to take on the challenge.

The Mysterious Wizard resides within the Trials; he's a combat aficionado who is always up for a friendly challenge. Complete his events to obtain a variety of rewards ranging from Gold to powerful Arcana.

The Wizard offers a challenge.

• Challenge - Kill enemies within the timer
  • You have 20 seconds to dispatch all of the foes to earn 100 Gold.
• Challenge - Kill all enemies without getting hit.
  • There are normally 2 waves of enemies; you can earn 100 Gold.
• Friendly Duel - Can you beat the Wizard in a duel?
  • He uses Random Arcana, which you can see near his health bar.
  • If you win, you earn one of his Arcanas.
• Golem battle - team up with the Wizard against a Golem.
  • Defeat it for a variety of rewards.

When you encounter a treasure chest, get ready to do battle. Interact with it, and several waves of enemies appear to ambush you, but once you overcome the foes, you can open the chest to obtain a relic. Occasionally, you can find minor chests in the Trials as well. These don't require you to defeat any enemies and reward you with some Gold and Chaos Gems.

Minor Chest

Healing and Chaos Gem crystals appear throughout the trials. When you break the crystal, you get the rewards. Chaos Gem crystals are purple and award you with this valuable metaprogression material. Health crystals are red and, when broken, yield healing orbs you can pick up to restore health for yourself and your party members.

Click the glowing blue crystal to spawn waves of enemies. After defeating the foes, you can interact with the crystal to gain a random Enhancement for your Arcana. Enhancements improve Arcana by providing a variety of effects. You can Enhance an Arcana multiple times, including taking the same Enhancement repeatedly. However, there is diminishing returns. For example, if you get +10% critical chance from the first Enhancement, you get +7% from the second (for a total of +17%).

Arcana Enhancements include

• Increased Damage
• Critical Strike Chance
• Damage Vs Undamaged Enemies
• Increased Critical Strike Damage
• Attack Speed
• Damage To Afflicted Enemies
• Reduced Cooldown
• +Shock (there are versions for other afflictions as well)

A large chest unguarded in the middle of the room? This looks too good to be true... because it is! But if you overcome the Mimic, there's a wealth of rewards.

Mimic Tips and Tricks

• The Mimic has a lot of dangerous area-of-effect skills, making the encounter more difficult for melee builds.
• When you're surrounded by red circles, try using an Arcana with iframes.
• There's a lot of screen clutter in this encounter, making it particularly dangerous for multiplayer.

If you find a mysterious Piñata, it's time to get ready to do big damage. If you take too long, his health resets! A good strategy here is to wait until all of your Arcanas are off cooldown or look for some nearby weaker enemies to charge your Ultimate before engaging with the Pinata.

Enter the mysterious purple portal to partake in a random challenge. This portal can contain an arena where you fight groups of armored enemies, face off against a powerful golem, or participate in a forbidden Wizard tournament. You get a variety of valuable rewards, including maximum Life and health restoration. It can also lead to a mysterious realm where you face off against foes to earn Cursed Relics. You never know quite what to expect when entering a purple portal.

Nox's Realm

• Enter a purple realm and kill waves of enemies.
• These enemies use Chaos attacks and are very dangerous; do your best to avoid damage.
• Afterward, Nox appears to offer you a Cursed Relic.

Serjik's Tournament

The challenges that await you include:

• Fight against foes in an arena; the enemies are armored, so you cannot easily interrupt them at the start of the battle.
• Duel Serjik, he's always up for a fight, though his tournaments are not exactly on the up and up.
• Defeat the Golem, this large foe has a particularly dangerous whirlwind attack.
• The rewards from Serjik's tournament vary.

Rescue Attempt

• Small spirits are trapped in cages, you need to defeat the armored foes to free them.
• This rewards you with an increase to your maximum health.

Enter a large room and defeat waves of enemies to complete the Relic Altar challenge. Interact with the altar to choose from 3 different Relics. The selection is random, so you aren't always offered something useful for your loadout.

The game's third stage works differently; you do not progress by exploring until you find the portal. Instead, you need to find 2 keys, then claim them by defeating the enemies. After you have both keys, return to the main room and activate the glyph in the center of the room. More enemies spawn; defeat them to enter the portal and move on to the next zone in the stage.

You encounter a variety of NPCs as you explore the Trials. Use the gold you've collected to purchase new Arcanas, Relics, and Arcana Enhancements. Other vendors offer you additional effects such as accessing special Relics, or exchanging unwanted Relics and Arcanas for something new. Trading with Vendors is a great way to increase your power as you progress.
