Activity Guide
Last Updated:August 29, 2024|Changelog
In Throne and Liberty, Activity is used to measure how much stuff you've been doing in the game. There is an Activity Ranking Leaderboard where the top 10 Activity players get a special icon next to their name. Whoever is Ranked #1 Activity gets access to Transcending Power: Heavy Rain, allowing you to make it rain whenever you want for a short time. It's extremely useful as it allows you to open Sanctum of Desire at any time to either grind or access Junobote. Bellandir and Tevent also have items that can drop only when it rains.
Sources of Activity
Beware there is Activity decay every day. Your activity decreases by a certain percentage.
- Contracts (5)
- Level 50 Dungeons (50)
- Mystic Portals (10)
- Proccing the Mystic Globe and opening it gives 25
- Guild Contracts (% Participation)
- Ex: 58% Participation = 58 Activity Upon Completion
- Field Bosses (50) (Once per hour) (Not Guild Bosses)
- Dynamic Events (150 for a single 20 minute event)
- Up to 125 Activity for Level 50 Dynamic Events
- Up to 25 Activity for Personal Performance
Tips For Grinding Activity
- Always take Resistance Contracts that award you Precious Blessing Pouch. Opening them awards you two Weekly Contracts, which give you more Activity.
- If you're trying to push Activity on a certain important day, save your Resistance Contracts, Mystic Keys, and Dimensional Contract Token Points.
- Due to Activity decay, it's better to spend everything over a few days rather than use them daily as you receive them.
- Do the Event Activity grind tech, as written and shown below.
Event Activity Grind Tech
In any single Level 50 Dynamic Event, you can only earn up to 150 Activity, 125 for placing in the top 10, and 25 for Personal Performance. But that doesn't mean that in one Event cycle, the maximum you can earn is 150. There's a technique you can use to earn more than that in one Event cycle.
The technique requires these conditions:
- Operation: Talisman Delivery (Click to learn more)
- Any Dominion Event
- Camouflage Cloak
Because of the way Operation: Talisman Delivery works, every time a Transport Crystal is taken, you receive Activity Points. Placing in the top 3 for the first 3 Transport Crystals nets you 31 Activity Points each, totaling 93 Activity.
With 5 minutes remaining, you teleport to the highest level Dominion Event (not Hidden Brown Mica). Then you try and rank at that Dominion Event. Because players are mostly focused on killing other players in these events, it's rather easy to place in the top 40, even in the top 10 at times. I've had a time when I turned in 1 token at Dominion Requiem of Light and placed rank 8. So the maximum amount of Activity you can earn through this method in one event cycle is 218.
Having a Dagger secondary is crucial in turning in whatever tokens you have in a Dominion Event because of Camouflage Cloak. For example, in Requiem of Light or Stop the Mana Frenzy, you might have to sneak your way to the turn-in point to get ranked. You might think this is impossible, but most players are not that focused on whatever's on their screen. Combined with Camouflage Cloak, you can easily turn in all your tokens before the enemy realizes.
Dominion Operation: Talisman Delivery
Trying to do Operation: Talisman Delivery during a Dominion Event is tricky. This almost always requires you to equip a Dagger secondary and use Camouflage Cloak. As long as you register at a Transport Crystal before dying, you can farm anywhere else on the map. Once you feel you've farmed a decent amount to guarantee the top 3 on your team, hide and wait for the Transport Crystal to be taken. Worse case scenario, you can always jump into the valley and hide on a ledge. Very rarely do players follow you.
I find that most people usually register first at Transport Crystal 1, less often at Transport Crystal 4, and very rarely at the others. This depends on how organized your team and the other teams are.
RNG is also involved in ranking at the correct Transport Crystal. This is because whoever registered at a Transport Crystal can be killed and lose all their Talismans. So you might find that the Transport Crystal you thought was going to be taken next is no longer the next one because players with the registered Tokens got killed.
I sometimes place in the top 3 at 2 or 3 Transport Crystals, depending on how the event plays out and who dies or not. It's not entirely in your control. But placing at least in the top 3 in 2 out of 3 Transport Crystals, in addition to at least placing top 40 at most Dominion Events, nets you a bit higher than 150 Activity Points.
Peace Event for the Last 5 Minutes
You can try getting top 40 at a Peace Event once you finish 3 Transport Crystals if you know that many people aren't there. I don't recommend doing this though, as it's just much easier to rank at a Dominion Event.
Summary
- Activity is important for your Guild's overall ranking.
- Placing Rank 1 in Activity gives you access to Transcending Power: Heavy Rain.
- You can earn more than 150 Activity Points during an event cycle by doing a certain tech.
