Island of Terror Dimensional Trial Guide
Last Updated:December 5, 2024|Changelog
The Island of Terror Dimensional Trial can be challenged repeatedly and has no cost to enter. Depending on your chosen difficulty, dungeons will have higher enemy stats, harder boss mechanics, and additional effects applied. Clear higher levels to contribute toward leaderboards and seasonal rewards.
Almost all mechanics in the Island of Terror remain the same in Dimensional Trials. The Fog Mechanic, Geyser Mechanic, and Rat Mechanic have been modified to make them more challenging to complete. All require teamwork. A new mechanic is introduced, the Flame Wave, seen in one of the mini-bosses in the dungeon.
Tier 5 Mechanics and Up
The Rat Mechanic will always happen at 90%, regardless of its Attack Pattern. Afterwards, its Attack Pattern is set.

Description
This mechanic is altered in two different ways.
- When the flames are called down and fog appears, a stack debuff appears over everyone.
- Only one player needs to clear this debuff.
- Running through fog clears stacks. Have the fastest player do this.
- Go through the following Geyser Mechanic as usual.
- After landing from the Geyser, all players with the stack debuff will be imprisoned in a water bubble.
- The player that cleared all their stacks now has to jump and touch these players to remove the bubble.
- Any players still in the bubble after a short time will die.
Description
- This mechanic happens shortly after completing the Geyser Mechanic.
- The 1st wave always appears behind the boss.
- The follow-up waves are random.
- Jump to avoid.
Description
This mechanic is completed entirely differently than how it is done in the normal 2-Star version.
- Kertaki will spawn an orange AoE underneath him as time goes on. This AoE stuns you.
- 3 players must burrow.
- The other 3 players are bait.
- These 3 players must run outside the circle into 3 different corners.
- These players must not burrow until a later time.
- Kertaki will chase the closest unburrowed bait player. The circle will move the boss.
- This player must burrow, taking care to burrow before the orange AoE hits you.
- Once the 1st bait burrows, the boss will move towards the next closest bait.
- Repeat the process until the boss is stunned.
- All players can then go to a flower and turn back into a human.
