Impending Doom Pathfinder Skills, Auras, Jewels & Passive Skill Tree. Trial of the Ancestors 3.22 League Starter
Skill Gems
Ensure your Impending Doom Pathfinder Skill Gems are of the right quality (Superior, Anomalous, Divergent or Phantasmal).
Some Gems need to be a certain level to function. This is especially important for some auras and certain defensive setups.
Follow the guides instructions to get the specifics on what levels and qualities are needed. Not every Gem needs to be at maximum level.

- Spell Cascade Support - Causes linked Spells to repeat in front and behind of the targeted location at the cost of reduced area of effect and damage.
- This is upgraded to Awakened Spell Cascade Support - when you have more currency.
- Awakened Deadly Ailments Support - provides a massive boost to damage over time.
- Awakened Void Manipulation Support - is a major damage boost to your Chaos Damage, at the Cost of dealing no Elemental Damage.
- Awakened Unbound Ailments Support - Grants more damage with Ailments and a large amount of Poison duration.

Core Auras
- Anomalous Purity of Elements - increases your Elemental Resistances while also granting Immunity to all Elemental Ailments.
- Grace - Scales your Evasion stat giving you a much higher chance of avoiding Attack based damage.
- Divergent Herald of Agony - Grants more damage with Poisons, as well as chance to Poison on hit.
Secondary Auras
- Malevolence - Casts an Aura that multiplies Damage over Time and increases Skill Effect Duration of you and your allies.

Utility
Mobility
- Flame Dash - is a movement Spell that causes the player to teleport to a target location. It is essential for mobility and dodging attacks.
- Shield Charge - is a movement skill that charges you towards a targeted location. Both Attack and Movement Speed make this skill faster.
Defence
- Cast when Damage Taken Support - Automatically triggers the linked Spell skill gems when taking a hit. Lower levels of Cast When Damage Taken require less damage to trigger (Use Level 6 for this build).
- Immortal Call - Provides a potent Damage Reduction with a short duration.
Offence
- Plague Bearer - When used releases stored Poison, which inflicts Chaos Damage over Time on nearby enemies.
Passive Tree Progression
Jewel Locations
Certain Jewels require specific placement on the Passive Tree, you can find these locations below.
Cluster Jewel 1
The Jewel Socket on the edge of the passive tree Near Perfect Agony should only be allocated after you have acquired the Glyph Eye jewel to socket within it. Make sure to refer to the gear page for information on what clusters you must use for this build.
Tattoos
Passive Skill Tree Tattoos redefine character building in Path of Exile! They excel at covering for a build's weaknesses by converting unneeded Attributes into Resistances, damage, and quality of life. Choosing the ideal Tattoos for your build often comes down to your specific gearing choices, to learn more about optimizing Passive Skill Tree Tattoos check out our full guide here.
