Quest Rundown

In this section we write a detailed rundown of all quest objectives:

1. Find the shallow grave - After speaking with Kres, Travel to the south of the Tree of Whispers in The Writhing Mire. There in The Swamp of Vanished Souls you will find the Shallow Grave.
2. Acquire the Exsanguinated Remains - Click the Shallow Grave and pick up Exsanguinated Remains.
3. Burn the Exsanguinated Remains - Go just south of Backwater to a funeral pyre. Click "Burn the Remains" while hovering the pyre.
4. Return to Kres - Speak with Kres back in The Writhing Mire. This completes the quest and the entire Tangled Memories quest-chain.
