Maxroll D2R
Welcome, Diablo Community! With Diablo 2 Resurrected launching this September, and the Open Beta starting today, we are thrilled to give you early access to our latest project - one that is very dear to our hearts. After months of blood, sweat, and tiers, we’re excited to share with you the Maxroll Diablo 2 Resurrected Website! This new addition to Maxroll seeks to be the definitive source for players of all skill levels, from beginners to pros. Our goals were to develop resources that are simple and efficient to use while also providing tremendous depth, so that players can quickly reference Maxroll during a gaming session, but can also take a deep dive and spend hours fully mastering Diablo 2’s mechanics.
This new branch of the Maxroll website will exist alongside our Diablo 3 and Diablo Immortal sites, and you can use our Game Selector (pictured below) to smoothly switch between the Diablo games we cover.
It was our original intent to unveil the site when it was fully complete. However, after seeing the overwhelming enthusiasm from our community inquiring about our coverage of Diablo 2 Resurrected, we have decided to launch this early access. We’re doing this so players jumping into the D2R Open Beta can benefit from the guides and tools we have already completed. By the time D2R launches on September 23rd, our site will be feature complete. In the meantime, we would love your feedback so that we can ensure Maxroll meets all your needs.
Our Maxroll Diablo 2 team is a collaboration of content creators within the Diablo community that have come together to pool their expertise. Their knowledge in creating guides and resources to help players get the most out of the game is second to none.
New tools and features added to Maxroll include a dedicated D2Planner. A calculator for Drops, Experience, Runewords and Gambling. The addition of comprehensive Tier Lists, Build Guides, game mechanics explanations and many more things to come — you name it, we got it. If we don’t have it, let us know!
Maxroll D2R Team
Since it’s initial reveal, the Maxroll D2R team has grown to cover even more aspects of the game we know and love playing! Whether they are top-end players, incredible sources of knowledge, or can put together a build out of anything, they have you covered. This team has put together some amazing content, and the future looks only brighter with more content to come!

D2Planner
D2Planner is a new invaluable tool we’re excited to share with the DIablo 2 community! It is a creation of Riv, the mastermind behind D3Planner! Head on over and check it out! You can create your own Character Builds, see detailed information about Items and skills and in-depth damage and breakpoint calculations. You can use your current D3Planner Account, create a new one for D2R or use it without creating an account. D2Planner uses detailed assets from both the original Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction and Diablo 2 Resurrected. Graphics for items, gear, weapons, charms, etc. are all there for your visual enjoyment. To switch, just simply click between the two options in the top left of the planner. For our Guides, we created interactive embeds for Skills, Items, Sets and the entire paper doll (left image). With Diablo 2 Resurrected in-game mechanics rapidly changing during development, we will do our best to keep the tool up to date. Together, we aim to make Maxroll and D2Planner a one-stop shop for Diablo 2, and can’t wait to hear the community’s feedback.
Project Diablo 2 and PvP
We’re also happy to announce our partnership with SenpaiSomething, the creator of the popular Project Diablo 2 mod that has taken the Diablo 2 community by storm over the past year. Thanks to our collaboration, Maxroll will soon enough be able to provide D2Planner support to Project Diablo 2 in addition to Diablo 2 Resurrected.
Furthermore, SenpaiSomething will be lending his expertise in Diablo 2’s PvP scene to help build out our PvP guides, which will be ready in time for you to crush your opponents and steal their ears on September 23rd.
Future Plans
We’re happy to launch early access for this weekend’s Diablo 2 Resurrected Open Beta. It’s a great feeling to be able to guide you through the first acts, and look forward to serving the community for many ladders to come!
