Talents
Fury Warrior
Slayer Level 70
Spec Tree
- Improved Whirlwind and Meat Cleaver
- These 2 talents enable your cleave damage, with Whirlwind active all of your single-target abilities also hit other nearby enemies.
- Bladestorm and Unhinged
- With the automatic Bloodthirsts from Unhinged this is good single-target burst, and absolutely incredible AoE burst.
- Make sure to have Whirlwind applied before you use Bladestorm. That way the automatic Bloodthirst will cleave on nearby enemies.
- Odyn's Fury and Titanic Rage
- Significant burst AoE damage in 1 global cooldown. Also enables your cleave with Whirlwind.
Class Tree
- Titan's Torment
- With this talent Avatar procs Odyn's Fury as well as Titanic Rage.
- Thunderous Roar
- Fury Warriors have so much burst AoE that it can become a bit overkill in 1 pull. Especially Thunderous Roar needs some time to get full value, since it has a DoT component that lasts 10 seconds. You should consider saving some of your cooldowns to have them spaced out if you notice some of the potential damage is wasted as your enemies expired before your cooldowns.
Hero Talents
- Slayer and Mountain Thane are both great options for Fury Warriors. In this guide we go Slayer, since it does a bit more burst damage and higher single-target. Mountain Thane can do more sustained AoE.

Rotation
Fury Warrior
Opener / Cooldowns
- You can play your cooldowns the exact same way in both single-target and AoE situations when leveling as a Fury Warrior.
- For AoE situations, Whirlwind is applied through Titanic Rage and Titan's Torment.
Single-Target
- Don't let Enrage fall off when in combat if you can help it. Rampage is your main reliable way to trigger it.
- Use Bloodthirst when it is almost guaranteed to do a critical strike because of you having high Bloodcraze stacks.
- Raging Blow does a lot of single-target damage and has a very high availability. It has a 35% chance to reset its own cooldown when you use it, and because of Hack and Slash you can also get additional Raging Blow cooldown resets when you use Rampage.
AoE
- Keep up Whirlwind so that your abilities cleave.
- Don't let Enrage fall off when in combat if you can help it. Rampage is your main reliable way to trigger it.
