Welcome to the Stats for Beginners guide! As you're leveling, investing these Stat points is the quickest way to get stronger. But what Stat should you invest in, and what are some of the other important ones in the game? Those answers are covered in this article!

Main 4 Stats

At Level 50, you have 49 Stat Points you can freely allocate to any of the 4 primary Stats. Once you put 20 points into an individual Stat, it takes 2 points to increase the Stat by 1. At 30 points, you need 4 points per. Do not put more than 20 points into a Stat unless you are trying to reach a certain breakpoint.

All Stats increases Weapon Damage, but Dexterity and Wisdom increase Weapon Damage the most per point. Once a particular stat reaches 30, you start gaining Achievement Effects for every 10 points invested all the way to 70. In the picture, you see the highlighted section with 3 purple dots and 2 grey dots. This means that the Achievement Effect at 30, 40, and 50 Strength was acquired. The effects are listed below.

Strength

Putting points into Strength increases your Defense, Max Health, and Health Regen.

  • 30 STR = Max Health +750
  • 40 STR = Damage Reduction +15
  • 50 STR = Heavy Attack Chance +100
  • 60 STR = Max Health +900
  • 70 STR = Max Health +450 | Melee/Ranged D +200

Dexterity

Putting points into Dexterity increases your Attack Speed, Critical Hit, and Evasion.

  • 30 DEX = Critical Hit +100
  • 40 DEX = Bonus Damage +15
  • 50 DEX = Move Speed +5%
  • 60 DEX = Critical Hit +120
  • 70 DEX = Critical Hit +60 | Evasion +120

Wisdom

Putting points into Wisdom increases your Max Mana, Mana Regen, and Cooldown Speed.

  • 30 WIS = Max Mana +100
  • 40 WIS = Debuff Duration -5%
  • 50 WIS = Cooldown Reduction +5%
  • 60 WIS = Max Mana +900
  • 70 WIS = Max Mana +450 | Mana Regen +120

Perception

Putting points into Perception increases your Hit, CC Chance, and Buff Duration.

  • 30 PER = Hit +100
  • 40 PER = Buff Duration +5%
  • 50 PER = Range +7.5%
  • 60 PER = Hit +120
  • 70 PER = Hit +60 | CC Chance +100

Other Stats for Beginners

There's not going to be many Stats you need to care about until you reach later into the game. So, this Stats for Beginners guide only goes over the most common ones.

How Values Are Displayed

Unlike other games, values for certain stats like Critical Hit aren't shown as a percentage. Instead, it's shown as a cumulative value of all the sources of Critical Hit on your gear. For example, Elite Resistance Knife provides 190 Critical Hit at Level 9. The game then calculates what your Crit percentage is based on this value. The in-game tooltip says that you gain 1% for every 10 points, but that's incorrect, so don't trust it. Instead, the values follow a curve, reaching 50% Critical Hit Rate at 1000 Critical Hit. So there are diminishing returns the higher you go.

Stats for Beginners (Critical Hit / Evasion / Heavy Attack Chance for PvE Only)

Hit

Hit affects whether you hit a monster with a skill. You don't need much Hit as you level, but you should look to slowly increase it to around 300-400 for PvE as you get to level 50. For PvP, it's incredibly important to stack much higher Hit to counter Evasion stacking.

Critical Hit

Critical Hit works almost like it does in other games. As mentioned above, the game turns your cumulative value of Critical Hit into a percentage. The higher the Critical Hit value, the higher the percentage chance that you Crit.

Heavy Attack Chance

The Heavy Attack Chance Stat is something that might be differently named in other MMOs. Heavy Attack Chance is the chance for your skill to deal double damage.

Evasion

Evasion is the rate at which you avoid attacks. There are three types of Evasion; Melee, Ranged, and Magic. The higher your value, the higher the chance you avoid monster attacks. Sword and Shield, Greatsword, and Dagger count as Melee. Crossbow and Longbow count as Ranged. Staff and Wand count as Magic.

Endurance

Endurance is how resistant you are to Critical Hits. Just like Evasion, there are three types, and the higher the value, the more resistant you are.

Mana Regen

Your value of Mana Regen is how much Mana you regenerate every 10 seconds. There's no hidden value.

Summary

  • Putting points into any of the main four Stats increases Weapon Damage.
  • The main 4 offer Achievement Effects at intervals of 10 from 30 to 70.
