Desert Caravan Dynamic Event

At the start of the event, Five Merchants spawn at the following locations; Crescent to the North-East, Castle to the West, Waves to the South-East and two Intermediary Merchants at the north and south ends of the desert. They accept Moonlight Scales during certain times in exchange for Coins. Moonlight Scales come from any mobs you find in the event area, and these scales can be turned in at any time. At set intervals, one named merchant offers 3x Coins for any Scales you turn in while the other two named merchants offer 2x Coins. During this time, the merchants only accept up to 5000 Moonlight Scales before closing up shop until the next cycle. There are two intermediaries that accept Moonlight Scales at a 1x value in the north and south ends of the Desert.

There are three windows where you exchange Moonlight Scales for 3x the Coins. Each Merchant only offers the 3x Coin exchange once. Once a merchant announces their 3x exchange, they no longer do a 3x exchange for the remaining windows. The third Merchant to give 3x Coins is guaranteed to be the last of the Merchants who haven't offered a 3x Coins turn-in yet, so plan for this ahead of time. Otherwise, you must watch for the on screen text telling you which Merchant offers 3x Coins next and try to be there as early as possible. Especially in Peace Caravan, the 5000 Moonlight Scales limit runs out very quickly. The last round of 3x Coins lasts until the event ends or the 5000 Scales limit is hit.
