Infiltrator PvP Build Guide
Last Updated:June 3, 2025|Changelog
Welcome to the Infiltrator PvP Build Guide. Longbow provides an incredible single target burst with skills such as Decisive Sniping, and the combination of Strafing into Zephyr's Nock.
You don't have as many spammable AoE compared to Spellblades, but you have an amazing AoE skill shot with a wide range, Flash Wave. Blitz also resets any skill you desire.
Dagger's skills complement most weapons well, providing flat offensive stat boosts like Wrathful Edge. Camouflage Cloak provides an incredible escape tool and can be used offensively for the guaranteed Crit. Shadow Walker boosts your Evasion to decent levels too; as long as you constantly upkeep the buff.
Infiltrator is an amazing asset in Large Scale PvP, and you won't regret playing it!

PvP Gear Progression
Acquiring Gear pieces and upgrading them is incredibly expensive and time-consuming. If you enjoy both PvE and PvP content, just use these sets for PvE as well.

- There is no "Best Build", Talandre Gear allows for a wide variety of builds leading to different metas depending on your Server.
- Use the builds as a base, and swap different pieces around to gain the specific stats you desire.
- With the introduction of earrings, use the easier to obtain Brilliant Regal Earrings for Endurance builds or Earrings of Forlorn Elegance for Evasion builds.
- Depending on which works best for your Attribute stat distribution, eventually use either Earrings of Glimmering Dew or Gilded Granite Teardrops for Endurance builds, or Earrings of Primal Foresight or Bloodright Earrings for Evasion builds.
Set Effect Options
- 2 Pieces of Abyssal Beast for Hit Chance and Wildlands Protector for Evasion are very common choices.
- Chaos Harbinger is a popular damage set effect for those that don't need to worry about added Evasion/Hit stats.
- Some servers end up having over 60-70% of the PvP playerbase as Sword and Shield users. Because of this, 4 - 6 piece Deathless One Set results in a great option to reach 85%+ Shield Block Penetration.
- Enchanting Pyromancer: Solar Stone is a solid choice for a quick burst of additional Hit for times you want to ensure the kill on a priority target.
Consider the defensive and offensive breakpoints other classes can reach when building your gear.
- Melee
- Fully built Sword and Shield users reach 1500+ base Endurance.
- The amount varies depending on Trait Resonances and Runes.
- With the Palace Guard's Plate Armor item set, they will take even less damage. If you are targeting Sword and Shields, use the Shield Block Penetration Chance Rune Synergy.
- Greatswords can reach 2500+ base Melee Hit Chance fully geared without sacrificing damage.
- Spears can reach 2000+ base Melee Hit Chance before buffs.
- Fully built Sword and Shield users reach 1500+ base Endurance.
- Ranged
- Ranged Classes can reach 2000+ base Ranged and Magic Evasion or 1700+ Endurance pre-buffed without sacrificing damage. The specific numbers depend on the Runes the player slots and the Trait Resonance they use.
- Support
- If Bow / Wands follow the builds on this site, they can reach 2000+ Ranged and Magic Endurance with 500+ Heavy Attack Evasion. As mentioned above, these numbers differ depending on the Runes and Trait Resonance.
Considering the above, it's hard to find a one-size-fits-all solution. How you gear will entirely depend on the meta of your server.
- Is your server full of high Evasion users? Do you usually target those players? If so, build more Hit Chance.
- The Combat Sanctuary node on Bow's Mastery is a great option for even more Hit!
- Is your server more Endurance-focused? Are you trying to kill those Endurance users? If so, build more Critical Hit Chance.
- Spec into Sniper's Sense to ensure high Critical Hit!
- Critical Damage Reduction, Attack Speed or Shield Block Chance Pierce
- Critical Damage Reduction counters the Critical Damage Increase from Death Set and other sources.
- Shield Block Chance Pierce counters Sword and Shield Block Chance.
- Attack Speed is self-explanatory.
Going Shield Block Chance Pierce is best if you want more overall damage to players, including tanks. Use the Attack Speed Rune Synergy if you want more overall damage to everyone who is not a tank. Critical Damage Reduction will reduce the damage taken when an enemy Crits. This is great for defense. You can go for any Rune Synergy that best fits your situation. EVERY SERVER META IS DIFFERENT.
- STR, PER, DEX, or WIS
- + PER should also help you hit 70 Perception if you desire. You also have the option of using Ancient Saurodoma Bracers or Skillful Oppress Bracelet instead if you have extra Perception.
- + DEX is purely an offensive Rune Synergy effect.
- + STR is helpful to hit 50 Strength or 60 Strength if needed.
Usually, players take runes depending on the stat they need to hit the necessary breakpoints.
- Max Health or Critical Hit Damage Reduction Rune Synergies
- A higher health pool will give you more effective HP than Critical Hit Damage Reduction.
T2 Full Damage + Evasion Build
- This build sacrifices some Evasion for higher Critical Hit + Damage.
- This build results in the following Offensive Stats BEFORE BUFFS

- This build results in the following Offensive Stats BEFORE BUFFS

- 690+ Heavy Attack Chance
- 1690+ Critical Hit

Stats and Gearing Logic
- Tevent's Arc of Wailing Death is still considered one of the strongest Bows to use in T2. If given the opportunity, feel free to use it.
- Tevent's Fangs of Fury is still very much useful and desired in most cases due to the ability to go in and out of stealth frequently.
- Infiltrators have the highest Endurance potential in the game due to Distorted Sanctuary, Keen Reflexes from Bow's Mastery Node allowing for additional Melee Endurance based on total Perception, and Umbral Toughness from Dagger's Mastery Node.
- Infiltrators naturally gets a lot of Critical Hit from passives like Sniper's Sense so stacking Critical Damage synergizes very well.

No Field Boss Build
- This build allows for PvP in T2 without requiring Field Boss Drops.
- There may be more of a grind for these items because of that.
- The chest piece comes from completing the Main Story Quest.
Fresh Level 55 Bow / Dagger
- This is NOT recommended to PvP with.
- This is just what you'll have after finishing the Talandre Main Stor
Skill Builds, Rotations, and Mastery
- Always use mobility skills like Block Blade roll to proc Shadow Walker for extra Ranged and Magic Evasion.
- Positioning is key!
- Take advantage of chokes or off-angles where enemies aren't staring right at you.
- Charging skills will break you out of stealth. In Large Scale PvP, stick near the backline without playing too close to other users to avoid getting hit by AoE.
- Tornado is a great counter-engage spell alongside this AoE bombing combo.
- Using Decisive Bombardment at the right moments is key.
- Use this also whenever somebody is locked down by a CC from either you or your teammates for increased damage thanks to the Skill Specialization Damage Increase.
AoE Engage
Weave in Flash Wave whenever there's a chance to do so. It is a great choice to use in chokes. Should the opportunity arise, you can flank and use from stealth in the enemy backline, but it is very risky if you're alone.
- Flash Wave
- Limit Break
- Flash Wave
Single Target Lockdown
- Ensnaring Arrow
- Strafing 3x
- Zephyr's Nock
Defensive Utility
- Use Camouflage Cloak defensively if you have to, to break Binds and get to safety.
- If a Sword and Shield user pulls you in, use Phantom Smokescreen to prevent Ranged attacks from hitting for increased survivability and then stealth away with Camouflage Cloak.
- The 1st Specialization, Improved Smokescreen, will allow you to ignore some Melee projectiles like Chain Hook. The tooltip does not reflect this.
- Evading attacks here also procs Assassination Stance.
- If you decide to use that Passive, replace Rapidfire Stance or Distorted Sanctuary.
Self-Sustain
This is an excellent way to self-sustain in fights when healers aren't around or have big cooldowns.
The Specialization, Vitality, from Nature's Blessing increases the amount of HP regained by a significant amount.
- Healing Touch
- Nature's Blessing
Weapon Mastery Prioritization
Use this as a framework for the first 130 levels of Weapon Mastery. Ultimately, it's a preference thing, as some players opt for more Defensive Masteries as they're reaching higher levels, while others prefer more Offensive Masteries.
Longbow
Daggers
Guardians
Guardians are special transformations that add offensive or defensive buffs or attacks to your character for 30 seconds. These are the recommended Guardians for this class in both PvE and PvP situations.
- Lady Knight Kamarshea provides a shield which is great to use for additional survivability.
- Pale Nemesis Hartach - This guardian allows you to reset your stealth if you get a kill within 3 seconds of engaging an opponent. This is also similar to the weapon effect of Tevent's Massacre Blade so until you get those daggers this is a good way to go in and out of stealth during fights. Sadly, however, it's only a 30 second duration so be careful when you pop it.
Summary
- This Infiltrator PvP Build Guide provides the information to play effectively in Large Scale and Small Scale PvP Content.
- If you're going Evasion, you always have to remind yourself to use a Mobility skill to proc Shadow Walker.
- Endurance is easier to play and has less RNG than Evasion. With Distorted Sanctuary giving an additional 360 Endurance in a group of 6, Endurance is a viable option for Longbow.
- When it comes to End Game builds, stat priority should be 60 Perception and 50 Strength.
