Welcome to the Outrider PvE Build Guide. At first glance, Outrider synergies seem non-existent. But the added Skill Damage Boost and Heavy Attack Chance gained from Greatsword skills like Vital Force and Cold Warrior increases the damage of Mortal Mark exponentially! You see anywhere from 50k - 200k+ damage when Mortal Mark pops with this Outrider PvE Build Guide. Normally Mana Regen is the bane of every Crossbow user's existence however, with passives like Victor's Morale you never have to worry about Mana Regen again!

Gear Progression

During T2 Gear progression, Queen Bellandir's Toxic Spine Throwers becomes the highest PvE Damaging Crossbow due to the added poison.

If you plan on PvPing in the future, just use the PvP gear shown in our Outrider PvP Build Guide for PvE. Unless you're going for high tier dungeon runs, PvP builds should suffice for PvE content.

Important

There is no "Best Build", Talandre Gear allows for a wide variety of builds leading to different metas depending on your Server.
Use the builds as a base, and swap different pieces around to fit the stats needed to combat your Server's meta.
With the introduction of earrings to the game, use whichever provides you the most Dexterity or Wisdom to increase your overall weapon damage in PvE or to hit additional Stat Breakpoints.

T2 Epic Builds

Fresh Level 55 Builds

T2 Early Transitional Buiild

This build is used just as a transitional phase to get started with T2/Talandre.
2 Pieces of Death Set and Abyss Slayer Set ensure high damage output.
Abyss Slayer Set items are from 2 Star Dungeons so no milestones needed to unlock.

T2 Full Build

This build reaches high levels of Critical Hit so Abyss Slayer Set helps to further the Maximum Weapon Damage being used on those Crits!
The Imperial Seeker Set allows the user to gain even higher Critical Damage!
- The tooltip is wrong, gain a base 15% Critical Damage with 1% extra per stack (up to 10 stacks)

Post Talandre MSQ Gladiator PvE Build is enough to start working towards the recommended T2 Epic Builds.

Tips

Add AoE during group farming by adjusting some of the skills.
- Guillotine Blade
  - Replace Cooldown Reduction with AoE Damage
- Replace Stunning Blow with Devastating Smash
- Replace Weak Point Shot with Frost Cleaving
Use Weak Point Shot every time the enemy uses a Fury Attack to maintain high DPS.\
Quick Fire and Cruel Smite should be used off cooldown as frequently as possible.
You want to try and have as many buffs up as possible when you use Merciless Barrage
- The three most important skills to keep up 24/7 are Selfless Infiltration, Mother Nature's Protest, and Mortal Mark.
Against mobs in the Open World, you don't have to rotate all your buffs. Most damage skills are able to kill Open World mobs with ease.

Guardians

Guardians are special transformations that add offensive or defensive buffs or attacks to your character for 30 seconds.

Shade Revenant Stheno - This guardian launches projectiles every second that can Crit and Heavy Attack! Since you're stacking so much Heavy Attack Chance, it's a clear decision to choose this Guardian!
- This is great for Outrider as they don't have Mana issues.

Gameplay

Summary

Outrider allows you to play like a Bruiser with access to Melee and Mid-Ranged Damage in Throne and Liberty!
Greatsword's skills and passives allow you to stack high amounts of Heavy Attack Chance, Hit, and Skill Damage Boost!
Victor's Morale helps to sustain HP and Mana.
While having high HP, you still have high amounts of damage due to Vital Force.
