Automation and Call to Arms Support

In Path of Exile Necropolis Automation and Call to Arms offer new ways to trigger Spells & Warcries.

New Supports

The new Support Sells allow you to trigger Instant Spells and Warcry skills, this adds an opportunity cost in the form of a gem socket but in exchange you can trigger all linked skills!

Automation

With Automation, you trigger Supported Instant spells on cooldown. You cannot cast these spells directly. This change impacts a wide variety of areas. You can trigger Detonate Mines to keep the "blast enemies on left click" miner feel. Alternatively if you don't want to Cast when Damage Taken your Guard Skills this is a new way to do it. The Spell must be Instant and have No Reservation, so no cheating your Auras on after you die. With a 150% Cost & Reservation Multiplier you don't want to use it on Vaal Auras or Blessings either.

Call to Arms

On the other hand, Call to Arms does the same thing but for Warcries allowing you to automate them, now we just need the return of Warcry focused Slam builds!

Tenkiei's Thoughts: I'm a little sad to see use on left click go, but this is a good change for the game. I'm especially looking forward to automating multiple skills on the same link and replacing some of the more forced uses for CWDT setups.
