February 2025 Community Class Tier List – Voting
Tier lists are often crafted by content creators or exceptionally skilled players, and frequently incorporate insights from other peak-performing players, particularly those from the Korean gaming scene. However, the community largely dismisses these rankings because your personal experience when encountering various classes might not match the tier they're supposed to be in.
The gap between tier lists and reality can mostly be attributed to two factors: gear optimization (min-max) and individual skill. A class can shine in the right hands, but might falter when wielded by someone with less experience. Furthermore, Western players have repeatedly witnessed supposedly “trash” classes and builds be dismissed by tier lists or by Korean players, only to run into them later and realize that they beat all expectations in current end-game content. Heresy!
Adding to the complexity, developers continuously tweak class balance based on internal data and average performance across end-game scenarios. These adjustments often cause shifts in the aforementioned tier lists.
To restore equilibrium, we’ve embarked on a mission: frequently measure the community's pulse on this topic through polls. By aggregating these results, we aim to construct a community-driven tier list, one that reflects your everyday encounters with each class. This list promises to deliver intriguing comparisons between the community's consensus and the personal rankings of top players.
