Introduction

Hanumatan is the last Raid Level 6 Guardian, with an Item Level requirement of 1540. This Guardian drops Tier 3 Accessories, Bracelets, Ability Stones and Upgrade Materials, as well as rare drops including Engraving Books.

The recommended Combat Items are Whirlwind GrenadeDestruction Bomb or Pheromone Bomb, Flare and your choice of health potion.

This guide focuses on the important raid mechanics and patterns. The normal patterns are not covered, since those are easily predictable and mostly avoidable by standing at the left, right side or behind the Guardian.

This Guardian guide assumes you know the basics of a Guardian Raid. Check out the General Guardian Raid Guide to learn more.

Raid Mechanics

Raid mechanics cover the passive mechanics that are persistent through the entire raid.

Armor Destruction
Stacking Buff/Debuff

This Guardian Raid has 4 phases and 3 layers of armor. During each of the first 3 phases, you get a chance to destroy one layer of the armor. Failing the first destruction check during a phase unlocks a 2nd opportunity to destroy Hanumatan's armor shortly before he transitions into the next phase. But it is recommended to destroy the armor on the first check, since the 2nd check before the transition to next phase is usually more difficult.

Be aware, if your party deals high Damage, the first destruction check might get skipped. In this case, you have to succeed the destruction check before the transition.

If your party deals average or low Damage and didn't manage to counter during the first destruction check, the Guardian might repeat it again before he uses the transition pattern.

The destruction check itself is easy and provides an up to 3 times stacking permanent buff to the party every time you succeed (Per stack: 5% Movement Speed, 3.5% Cooldown Reduction and 3.5% Attack Speed). But failing it increases the difficulty of the last phase and allows Hanumatan to use a devastating attack upon transitioning into the last phase.

Throughout the entire fight, each player gains a stacking buff/debuff for 10 seconds when hitting Hanumatan. Each stack increases the Damage taken by 1.25% (2% per stack in Phase 4) and the Crit Rate by 1%. This can stack up to a maximum of 40 and gets lowered upon getting hit by the Guardian.

Upon reaching certain debuff/buff stack thresholds, you unlock additional buffs. The eye indicator above the head of each player changes accordingly to give visual feedback.

1 - 9 stacks (Eye closed): No additional buffs.
10 - 39 stacks (Eye half open): 5% Cooldown Reduction (10% in Phase 4), 10% Attack Power (15% in Phase 4)
40 stacks (Eye wide open): 30% Cooldown Reduction, 30% Attack Power

Using Pheromone Bomb helps to maintain the stacks count without losing any during phase transitions.
