Flame Fox Yoho Guardian Raid Guide
Flame Fox Yoho Introduction
Flame Fox Yoho is the third Raid Level 2 Guardian and you need to be at least 540 Item Level to enter this Guardian Raid. This Guardian drops Tier 1 Accessories, Upgrade Materials and Ability Stones as well as rare drops including Runes, Engraving Books and Cards. It takes 10% more damage from Water Element skills.
This Guardian is a Fire Element Guardian with high mobility. A lot of attacks apply an on hit burn debuff which is why Panacea or classes with cleanse skills greatly increase the survival of the party.
Yoho has 3 Phases. Every time Yoho proceeds to the next phase, it gets new or modified attacks from previous phases. Yoho transitions to Phase 2 shortly after the first encounter. After the first escape and relocating to a new area, the Guardian is on phase 3.
The most important mechanics during the Guardian fight are the ones which can give a player the "Burning Soul" buff. This buff is mandatory to deal amplified damage to Yoho. The buff increases your attack power and speed for a specific duration.
Another important mechanic which requires attention are the Burning Fields. Some of Yoho's attacks set the ground on fire and this fire will not despawn unless Staggered. A longer fight leads to more ground covered in fire, making the fight even harder. Staggering Yoho by depleting the hidden Stagger bar will remove all active fire fields on the ground.

Special Interactions & Patterns
Counterable Dash
Counter attack is possible during the Charge attack pattern. At the start of this attack animation, the Guardian glows blue. The player has a short window to cast a skill with a Counter Attack affix while standing in front of the Guardian. If you manage to pull this off fast enough, the Guardian's attack will be interrupted and staggered for a few seconds. This gives you and your team a short window to use buffs and deal additional damage
The Guardian dashes forwards while creating an afterimage. The afterimage can still be targeted and can take damage. Getting hit by the afterimage deals medium damage and knocks the player up.
This attack can be used 3 times in a row on the same target. The best way to avoid getting hit is to start strafing to the left or right of the Guardian after each dash. The targeted player should avoid running too close to teammates.
Glowing Tails
Pay attention to Yoho's tail during the entire fight. Once it starts to shine, the Fire Breath attack follows shortly afterwards.
Fire Breath
The Guardian turns towards a player and breathes fire for a few seconds. Everyone needs to react fast and let them self get hit by this attack for one second. Once hit by this attack, you get the "Burning Soul" buff which increases the damage you deal to the Guardian.
Make sure to jump out of the breath area as soon as you get the buff, as this attack deals high damage. Use shield skills or Protective Potion to reduce or negate the damage you take.
Ring of Fire
The Guardian becomes stationary and summons small fire orbs. These fire orbs start to rotate and form a circle around the Guardian. At the end of this animation, a player inside the circle gets the "Burning Soul" buff. If you play a support class, get out of the circle so that one of the damage focused classes in your party gets the buff. Be aware that you can only move out of the circle by using a super armor skill or space bar.
Multi Orb Summoning
Yoho shoots out 5 fire orbs which travel a short distance before stopping. After a short delay the stationary orbs and Yoho start to spawn multiple fire orbs. Each player needs to get hit by 3 of these orbs to acquire the "Burning Soul" buff. Standing directly behind Yoho almost guarantees you get hit 3 times by a fire orb.
Power Up
The Guardian tries frequently to collect energy to buff itself. The longer Yoho manages to accumulate energy without getting interrupted the more the attacks of the Guardian are amplified. The progress of the energy accumulation is displayed on the beads around Yoho's neck. The beads start to glow blue one by one as the energy collection phase persists. This process can be interrupted by using skills or Combat Items with a Stagger affix.
General Patterns
Paw Strike
The Guardian slams its paw in front of it. This skill deals low damage and can be performed up to 2 times in a row.
Charge
Yoho charges towards a player and knocks up everyone on the path.
Jump
Yoho jumps towards a player and deals medium damage on impact.
Starting from phase 2 the Guardian does a triple jump combo. There is a short delay between the 2nd and 3rd jump so make sure to keep moving, getting hit by the 3rd jump deals massive damage. The targeted player should avoid running too close to teammates.
Leap
Yoho leaps towards the sky and crashes back to the ground after a short delay. This skill deals high damage, avoid getting hit by it at any costs. If necessary dodge out by using the spacebar as soon as you see the red telegraph on the ground.
Clone Attack
The Guardian teleports close to a player and performs a 360° spin attack. After a short delay a clone spawns in front of Yoho which mimics the spin attack. Left, right or behind yoho are the safe spots.
In Phase 3 Yoho spawns one clone at each cardinal direction. There are 2 recommended methods to prevent getting hit by this attack. You can either stay diagonal to Yoho or jump towards the real Yoho as soon as the Guardian performs the spin attack.
Tail Slam
Yoho raises its tail and slams it towards the ground. This attack deals low damage and staggers the player on hit.
Tail Sweep
The Guardian looks towards the left or right side before sweeping the tail towards that side. Similar to Tail slam, this attack deals low damage and staggers on hit.
Spin
Yoho performs a 360° spin attack which knocks back players on hit.
Fire Spin
This attack has a similar animation to the Tail Spin attack, but won't deal any damage. Instead it spawns 2 flame fields at a random location near the Guardian. Make sure to avoid staying in those fields as they cause you to burn and take damage.
Frontal Fireballs
Yoho faces and shoots 2 fireballs towards a specific player. On hit you take medium damage and will get staggered.
The Guardian shoots 2 additional fire balls towards the same player after a short delay. The targeted player should avoid running too close to teammates.
Random Fireballs
The Guardian fires multiple fireballs towards random locations. Staying behind the Guardian is the safest spot.
The random fireballs can leave behind a flame field similar to the one from the Fire Spin attack.
Backwards Jump
Yoho spins backwards to a new location. This attack doesn't deal any damage but the Guardian can use Dash or Charge as a follow up attack, which increases the chance of getting hit.
Catwalk
This attack is added to the skill pool of Yoho starting from phase 2. The Guardian starts to walk forward slowly for a few seconds while summoning meteorites at random locations. Make sure to avoid getting hit by this attack because it knocks you up and deals massive damage.
Flares
The Guardian can use this attack once it enters the last phase. The Guardian looks up and shoot flares into the sky while howling. After a few seconds those flares slowly descend back to the ground and deal high damage on hit around the impact area.
