The Argent Skull, Revaal with the Aspect of Persephone is very easy to play and provides a lot of safety. This extremely mobile build focuses on using your Colossus Tackle Special to deal damage while using iframes from the Omega Special to negate enemy attacks. Aphrodite's Flutter Flourish offers massive damage against close range foes, making this build capable of consistently pushing out high damage. There are many ways to build, the Argent Skull, Revaal so feel free to experiment with different Arcana, Boons and Keepsakes!

Weapon Aspect
Build Glory with your Omega Cast and the Aspect of Persephone extends the duration of your Omega Special. During this time it continues to fire side projectiles and provides additional iframes. There are multiple ways to play this Aspect, but the version this guide covers is built around spamming your Special then using the Omega Special for iframes to avoid dangerous attacks.
The Aspect of Persephone increases your Omega Move damage, so you can build into the Omega Attack or Omega Cast instead.
Arcana, Keepsakes and Familiar
Before you set out each night, you need to choose your active Arcana, Keepsakes and Familiar. Which Familiar you use is up to you, Frinos provides some defenses and Toula adds a Deaths Defiance plus some damage. You have the option to switch up Keepsakes between each region but the remaining choices are fixed for the entire run.
Arcana
Start with general purpose staples like The Titan and Eternity. The Huntress provides you a reliable damage bonus, just remember to spend Magick by weaving your Omega Special between normal Specials
Aspect of Persephone needs a reliable source of Magick recovery so be sure to grab The Unseen. From there, focus on activating The Centaur and Divinity. These are powerful 0 cost Activations which provide significant bonuses.
After that, allocate your remaining Grasp based on personal preference, you can take additional damage, defenses, or utility. Death or Origination are great options for this build.

Keepsakes
- Start out with the Beautiful Mirror from Aphrodite to ensure you have access to Flutter Flourish.
- Barley Sheaf from Demeter is your best bet for a second Olympian as she enables Freeze via a Boon for your Attack or Cast.
- For the final zone, Knuckle Bones from Odysseus gives you a damage reduction and reduces the final boss's health.
- Alternative Keepsake options:
- Transcendent Embryo from Chaos gives temporary access to a powerful Chaos Boon.
- You keep the Chaos Boon currently active when swapping the Transcendent Embyro for another Keepsake!
- Blackened Fleece from Medea is a great way to further boost your Omega Skill Damage, but it's less impactful if you have a high rarity Flutter Flourish.
- Use Concave Stone from Echo to give yourself a chance of obtaining additional Boons.
- Vivid Sea from Poseidon enables a completely different playstyle which eschews Colossus Tackle.
- Transcendent Embryo from Chaos gives temporary access to a powerful Chaos Boon.

Hex
Phase Shift is tremendously helpful to give you more time to execute your Omega Moves. Otherwise Total Eclipse provides damage and Moon Water offers healing.
Boons and Upgrades
You can play Aspect of Persephone with a variety of Boons, but this build focuses on using Flutter Flourish from Aphrodite to deal massive damage at close range. Because Revaal's Special charges you into foes, the bonus is always active. This pairs well with Daedalus upgrades that boost your base damage and scales incredibly well with levels from a Pom of Power.
Sworn Flourish from Hera, Nova Flourish from Apollo and Ice Flourish from Demeter are alternatives, they provide more utility and clear speed in exchange for significantly lower damage on bosses.
This setup revolves around the Daedalus Hammer upgrade, Colossus Tackle to massively boost your Special. You go from base 25 power, to 70 which is then multiplied by your increases. As all the bonuses stack up, you start hitting for 100, 200 or even 300 with each Special you execute.
If you can't obtain Colossus Tackle an alternative is to build around, Poseidon's Wave Flourish. This adds flat damage to your Special and gives the Move a knockback effect. The Poseidon version is significantly lower damage than the Aphrodite version, but it does add quite a bit of safety and excels at knocking enemies against a wall to set up for the Omega Special.
Additional Boons
In addition to the recommended Boons, here are a few things to keep an eye out for when playing Aspect of Persephone.
- Demeter's Arctic Ring Freezes enemies instantly when you drop your Cast making it easier to dash between foes, striking them down as you do.
- Gale Force from Demeter creates a Cyclone on your Cast which slows enemies and their Projectiles.
- Aphrodite's Glamour Gain ensures reliable access to a Curse for Origination.
- Life Affirmation from Aphrodite scales your health pool by making Centaur Hearts and other health gain effects more potent.
- Volcanic Strike from Hephaestus is a great way to break enemy Armor from a distance.
- If you use Volcanic Strike, be sure to also grab Furnace Blast to inflict Vent, a Curse effect that inflicts additional damage.
- Swift Flourish from Hermes increases your Special Speed making it easy to land on enemies.
- Poseidon's Fluid Gain is a bit of a double edged sword, it provides a lot of Magick recovery but makes The Huntress more difficult to keep active.
- Wave Flourish from Poseidon provides an alternative playstyle which does not require Colossus Tackle.

Playstyle
Open with your Attack or Special to inflict crowd control and a Curse on enemies. Then charge up an Omega Special to spend Magick and set yourself up to spam your Special for maximum damage. If a foe is dangerous, focus on abusing the iframes from your Omega Special, otherwise spam the regular Special as it deals higher damage. Weave in your Cast to keep enemies Frozen and use your Attack if needed to apply a Curse and activate Origination.
- On most normal enemies, spam your Special after the opener until they die.
- On swarms of enemies, use your Omega Cast then Omega Special.
- Against Armored foes, Freeze them then Special spam or keep using your Omega Special to abuse the iframes.
- Try to keep your Omega Cast down against Armored foes to maximize your damage!
- Treat bosses similarly to Armored foes, observe their attack pattern then use your Omega Cast to deal damage and chip away at them. If you can get a boss up against the wall when you unleash your Omega Special this maximizes your damage.
- Don't forget your Hex on boss fights!
- Remember, The Sorceress won't slow time when fighting Chronos. This leaves you vulnerable while channeling your Omega Cast or in the window between when you Special ends and Omega Special activates.
If you're struggling against a dangerous foe, don't be afraid to drop your Omega Cast then move out of melee range and charge up an Omega Special. If possible, try to get dangerous enemies up against a wall.
Overworld
You have less access to Boons and Keepsakes, so you're less likely to find Colossus Tackle. It can be worthwhile to take Vivid Sea from the start and play the Poseidon variant instead.

Summary
Aspect of Persephone for Revaal, the Argent Skull has strong synergy with the Colossus Tackle Daedalus Hammer upgrade. This build provides safety through the iframes your Omega Special with an extended duration. Then you obtain Flutter Flourish from Aphrodite and spam your Special to deal with any foes which stand in your path. While you need a bit of luck to put this setup together the end result is fantastic.
