Masonry Station
Masonry Station

There are 2 stations you mainly interact with while leveling the Masonry profession:

Masonry Station

Use the Masonry Station to cut Rough Gems and Gem Fragments obtained from Rough Pebbles to craft Rings. Additionally, you create Basic Potter's Mix and Unfired Rough Bricks, which are further processed in the Kiln before being refined further in this station. This station provides EXP for the Masonry Profession.

Kiln

The Kiln is an essential station for processing materials created at the Masonry Station before they can be further refined. Furthermore, you can make Glass by using sand as a material. This is a Passive Station and doesn't provide EXP for any Professions.

Rough Pebbles Output

One of the first materials you unlock at the Masonry Station is Rough Gem Fragments, which you need to gain Masonry levels and learn subsequent recipes. Follow the steps below to unlock and make Rings.

  1. Find and mine Limestone Rock Formations to obtain Rough Stone Chunks.
  2. Break down the Rough Stone Chunks at the Mining Station into Rough Pebbles Output.
  3. Use the Rough Pebbles Output to extract Rough Gem Fragments at the Masonry Station. This provides random gem fragments (Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, or Diamond). If you are lucky, you may get full gems instead of fragments.
  4. Repeat steps 1-3 until you have 5 fragments of the same gem. Combine those at the Masonry Station to obtain Rough Gems.
    • While mining Limestone Rock Formations (Step 1), you might get Rough Geode as a rare drop. You can break it to get a random Uncut Gem, which can be further cut into a Rough Gem at the Masonry Station.
  5. You need 3 Rough Gems of the same type and 2 Ferralith Ingots (Smithing Guide) to craft a Ring. Rings always increase the speed of 3 crafting professions by 4.2% based on the gems you used to craft it.
    • Ruby: Scholar, Hunting, Fishing
    • Emerald: Foraging, Tailoring, Farming
    • Diamond: Forestry, Carpentry, Leatherworking
    • Sapphire: Smithing, Masonry, Mining
    • Alternatively, use 2 gems of each type together with 2 Ferralith Ingots to craft a Rough Gem Encrusted Ring, which provides +4% speed to all gathering and crafting activities related to professions.
Unlock Cart

Before you begin mining Limestone Rock Formations, you should first follow the Main Quest until you get your cart. This allows you to gather and move a large quantity of the required materials at the same time.

Amulets

Amulets don't require a long gathering and crafting chain and provide bonuses for combat. The first amulet, "Rough Jakyl Fang Amulet," increases Evasion by 40 and reduces Combat Skill Cooldown by 4%. However, one of the main materials required to craft it is a Jakyl Fang, which is a rare drop obtained from slaying Jakyls. Slaying Jakyls is difficult at the start of the game, especially if you don't have help from others.

The remaining 2 materials required to craft a Rough Jakyl Fang Amulet are Jakyl Fur (a guaranteed drop from Jakyls) and Ferralith Ingot.

Summary

  • The Masonry profession in BitCraft allows players to craft essential materials like Bricks, Vials, Jewelry, and more, serving key roles in other professions such as Scholar, Forestry, and Slayer.
  • Crafting Rings involves mining, refining, and combining gem fragments. Rings offer profession-based bonuses that enhance crafting and gathering speed.
  • Amulets provide combat benefits and are simpler to craft, though key materials like Jakyl Fang are harder to obtain early in the game.
