BitCraft Tailoring Guide
Last Updated:June 20, 2025|Changelog
The Tailoring Profession uses fiber created at the Foraging Station to craft cloth materials and ropes in BitCraft. Additionally, this profession allows you to craft Woven Clothing, which provides benefits for crafting-related activities.
This guide for the game is based on the information available in the BitCraft Demo. As development continues, you can expect new content and balance changes. Pin BitCraft guides to stay notified of future updates.
Stations

There are 3 stations you mainly interact with while leveling the Tailoring profession:
Foraging Station
Gather Plant Roots from bushes, then take them to the Foraging Station to process them into Plant Fibers. Fiber is an important material used to craft various cloth-related items at the Tailoring Station. This station provides EXP for the Foraging Profession.
Tailoring Station
At the Tailoring Station, you process the fiber obtained from the Foraging Station into thread. After using the Loom, you return to this station to craft cloth, rope, or other materials. This station provides EXP for the Tailoring Profession.
Loom
Use the Loom to weave threads into cloth strips, which is an essential material used to craft cloth and rope at the Tailoring Station. This is a Passive Station and does not provide EXP for any Professions.
To learn more about the different Stations and their purpose in BitCraft Online, check out the Professions Guide.
Rough Cloth

The first Tailoring-related material you interact with is the Rough Plant Fiber, which is necessary to gain Tailoring levels and unlock subsequent recipes. Follow the steps below to unlock and make Rough Cloth.
- Foraging bushes in the world yields Rough Plant Root, a cargo-type item. Use the tracking function in the Compendium to locate nearby bushes.
- Process the Rough Plant Root at the Foraging Station to obtain Rough Plant Fiber.
- Go to the Tailoring Station and process the Rough Plant Fiber into a Rough Spool of Thread.
- Weave the Rough Spool of Thread into Rough Cloth Strip at the Loom.
- Finally, combine the Rough Cloth Strip with Rough Wispweave Filament to craft Rough Cloth.
- Obtain Rough Wispweave Filament through farming. If you want to learn the exact steps to cultivate it, check out the Farming Guide.
Check out the Compendium Guide to learn about tracking and cargo-type resources.
Before you forage bushes, you should first follow the Main Quest until you get your cart. This allows you to gather and move a large quantity of the required materials at the same time.
Cloth Armor Crafting

Now that you have Rough Cloth, you can use it to craft Woven Clothing. This armor type provides stats, such as increased crafting and building speed, that benefit crafting-related activities.
You can craft the following Woven Clothing parts:
- Hat
- Shirt
- Belt
- Pants
- Boots
- Gloves
Summary
- Tailoring in BitCraft transforms fiber from the Foraging Station into cloth materials and ropes, crucial for crafting progression.
- Foraging Station, Tailoring Station, and Loom play essential roles in processing materials for Tailoring.
- Crafting Woven Clothing offers valuable benefits, enhancing crafting and building speed for various in-game activities.
