Goddess of Hunting Farming Guide

The Goddess of Hunting is one of the 4 Trials of the Gods you encounter once reaching Torchlight Infinites Endgame, The Netherrealm. This mechanic makes stage bosses much more difficult, allowing you to select from multiple options, each of which alters the boss encounter in a different way. A second option can appear that allows you to select a reward pool, such as; Commodities, Fluorescent Memories or Legendary Items. This, like all of Torchlight Infinite's content systems, can be altered through Void Chart Constellations, Confusion Cards, and Enhancement Compasses.

Mechanics

Statues of Hunting spawn directly before the boss in each Netherrealm Stage. Interact with one to choose between 2 sets of options;

• Boss buff options that make the encounter more difficult and add rewards based on the rarity of the option selected
• Player buff options that allow you to choose the additional rewards dropped when completing the encounter.

Goddess of Hunting also grants a chance to duplicate the stage boss which is a good method of scaling any boss specific loot drops you receive from your Star Talent selections or Confusion Cards.

If you have a high damage build that can clear the Goddess of Hunting boss encounters within 10 seconds to benefit from the additional drop quantity bonus granted by Star Talents; Goddess of Hunting is a fantastic addition to your farming strategies.

Void Chart Constellation

The Goddess of Hunting Void Chart is split into 5 different paths, each granting separate bonuses focusing on making the encounter more difficult and rewarding;

• 1. 15 Star Talents that grant a total of a 100% chance for Goddess of Hunting to appear in your Netherrealm Stages. These are a good, free method to guarantee the encounter and can be used to free up a compass slot if necessary.
• 2. This path grants another 11% additional Drop Quantity but increases the bosses HP by 50%. Additionally, it grants a 4% chance for bosses to be assisted by the Plane Watcher and to summon a Plane Watcher Chest when defeated.
• 3. This path has 2 key medium nodes;
  • +39% chance for all player buff options to be replaced with boss buff options. This is an amazing choice in combination with all the chance for boss buff options to be Legendary, but makes the encounter much more difficult.
  • +10% additional Drop Quantity during Trial: Goddess of Hunting. An easy Star Talent to take if you are able to deal with difficulty added by the previous node.
• 4. The buff branch grants 500% chance for the boss buff options to be Legendary. The downside being that it also causes the options to be selected randomly; whilst this restricts your ability to choose the best option, it means you have to interact with fewer menus.
• 5. The final path grants a 30% Drop Quantity for 10 seconds after the Trial starts. Do not take this Star Talent if you are able to consistently complete the encounter during this period.
• The Micro nodes grant one of the following stats;
  • +1.5% chance to replicate bosses during Trial: Goddess of Hunting.
  • +16% chance for boss buff options to be Legendary in Trial: Goddess of Hunting
  • +% chance for Trial: Goddess of Hunting to appear in stages.

Chaos Cards

There are 5 different Confusion Cards related to the Goddess of Hunting mechanic;

• Mistrustful - Hunting; 100% chance for all boss buffs to take effect during Trial: Goddess of Hunting. +200% chance to replicate bosses.
• Deceitful - Hunting; 80% for boss to receive the Traveller's assistance, and 1 Traveller Chest spawns when they are defeated.
• Insidious - Hunting; +45%/22%/15% chance for all boss buff options to take affect during the Goddess of Hunting Trial.
• Crafty - Hunting; +54%/27%/18% for a Plane Watcher Chest to spawn after defeating the boss affected by Trial: Goddess of Hunting.
• Cunning - Hunting; +75%/50% chance to drop 1 additional Compass during the Goddess of Hunting Trial.

Enhancement Compasses

The Goddess of Hunting Enhancement Compasses are the final way to alter the mechanic in your Netherrealm Stages, there are 3 to choose from each one providing something unique. Importantly; multiple Goddess of Hunting Enhancement compasses of a different rarity can be used together.

• Hunting Compass - Guarantees the encounter in your stages whilst giving a minor buff to monster HP. A good option if you want to farm Goddess of Hunting but need to save 15 Star Talents.
• Legendary Hunting Compass - This compass guarantees that any boss buff options are Legendary, this combo's amazingly with confusion cards that cause all boss buff options to be selected.
• General Hunting Compass - Duplicates all bosses during Trial: Goddess of Hunting.
