Welcome to the Mystic Globes and Portals Guide. Mystic Globes and Portals found throughout the open world of Throne and Liberty reward you with various items used to upgrade your gear and skills, as well as restoration coins and items needed for extracting and converting traits.
You can search for Mystic Globes and Portals alone or with a group since they are instanced to your character and appear in set locations.
Mystic Portals
Mystic Portals have a random chance to spawn after collecting from a Mystic Globe. These Portals mostly share the same rewards as Mystic Globes but in much larger quantities. Mystic Portals can contain Trait Unlockstone which Globes do not have.
When a Mystic Portal spawns after collecting from a Mystic Globe, a notification will appear at the top of your screen.
The game does not tell you exactly where the Mystic Portal is, but it gives you a general area to look around. Open up your map to check the spawn area of the Mystic Portal. The location of the Mystic Portal within these spawn areas is always the same.
Mini Map Icons
Make sure to use your Mini Map to guide you in your search for Mystic Globes and Portals as it contains convenient icons highlighting exactly where a Mystic Globe is located. A Mystic Portal icon also shows up on your Mini Map but you have to be within 10 meters of the Portal and the icon is very small. It's more reliable to search the Portal area and look for the big red globe on your screen.
Mystic Globe and Portal Rewards
The following are what you receive from Mystic Globes and Portals. Remember, Mystic Portals share the same loot as Globes, but the loot from Portals is obtained in much larger quantities. The only exception is Trait Unlockstone which can not be obtained from Mystic Globes.
Mystic Globe
You can acquire one of these rewards:
- One Rare or Precious Ore (Any 3)
Rare Ore, Precious Ore - 3 Trait Conversion Stone
- 3 Trait Extraction Stone
- Precious Parchment
- Restoration Coin x10 Chest
You are guaranteed these rewards:
- 100 Abyss Currency
- 10 Activity Points
Mystic Portal
You can acquire one of these rewards:
- More than 3 Rare or Precious Ores (Any 3)
Rare Ore, Precious Ore - 5 Trait Unlockstone
- 8 Trait Conversion Stone
- 5 Trait Extraction Stone
- 20 Precious Parchment
- Restoration Coin x10 Chest
You are guaranteed these rewards:
- 100 Abyss Currency
- 25 Activity Points
