Announcing the Maxroll PoE2Planner Alpha!
Our tool development team has been hard at work since Path of Exile 2 was released and we're excited to share the results! This is the alpha release for our PoE2Planner, we're going to be updating it regularly to add more features, improve the UI, and build out additional quality of life. You can share a complete build including Passive Tree, Skills, Equipment, Atlas Tree and you can even add a build showcase of your setup tearing through a map!
Features
- Title - This is a combination of the first skill and ascendancy class. You can also see the league (currently Early Access) and when the build was last updated.
- Passive Tree - Record Passive Tree progression and variant trees. This works exactly like our Path of Exile 2 Passive Skill Tree tool on Maxroll!
- Pro tip: If you want to include a respec step in your tree click the "record respec" button, add/remove points, then click the button again.
- Skills - Show Active & Spirit Skills used in your build along with any Support Gems. You can even add progression steps to make it easier for other Exiles to follow your build. Use the Prev and Next buttons to navigate between steps.
- Note: Currently you're able to put most supports in but in the future we will update the planner so you can only use supports which are valid for the skill.
- Equipment - Display the gear your character is wearing. You can create custom items, or show off the awesome stuff you're using by importing items directly from the game to our builder.
- Hover over the item in-game.
- Press Ctrl+C to copy.
- Then click "import" in the PoE2Planner before pressing Ctrl+V to paste.
- Note: We're still working on creating crafting logic!
- Author - This is you! Remember to set your socials so people can find you.
- Video Showcase - You can include a video showcasing your build in action, this is optional and if left blank won't show up!
- Notes - Currently builds from Maxroll members can include notes, this will roll out to all users in the future.
- Strengths and Weaknesses - What is the build good at and what are some of its shortcomings? Use this section to give people an idea of whether or not your build meshes with their playstyle or warn them of any jank!
- Atlas Tree - In addition to sharing your build you can also share your Atlas Tree!
- Options - Adjust settings, save, or start a new profile.
Coming Soon(tm)
This is just an alpha version, we know there's a lot of work to do refining the UI and improving the PoE2Planner's functionality. But we wanted to release something as soon as possible so we can start gathering feedback to make the tool the best it can be. So here's a sneak peek at some of the stuff we're working on;
- Public Build Database, this is going to be similar to what we use in Diablo4, Last Epoch, and Torchlight Infintite where you can save a build as public or browse the database for inspiration.
- Notes, currently this is Maxroll members only while we work out a few bugs but should roll out to everyone soon.
- More logic and tooltip support, so you can better understand how changing an affix or skill impacts your build.
- Shortly we're planning to introduce a creator program, open to people outside of Maxroll.
- Also there are a few other things we're cooking up that we can't share quite yet so stay tuned for some additional features.
