Xesht
Last Updated:January 9, 2025|Changelog
Xesht, We That Are One is the pinnacle boss of the breach mechanic. You need to beat him 4 times to unlock all of your Breach Atlas Passives, each time facing off against a more difficult version. Use our ability breakdown to learn his move set, or check out the loot table to learn what rewards await if you succeed.
Path of Exile 2 is currently in early access, which means updates occur frequently, and details are subject to rapid change. Pin the post to be notified of future updates.
Getting to the boss
Each Pinnacle Boss is accessed via the correct Fragment(s). For Xesht, that's a Breachstone, which is created by combining 300 Breach Splinters.
Put your Breachstone in the Realmgate on your Atlas. You can find this around the Atlas starting area. Doing so opens portals to the Twisted Domain, where you can fight Xesht.
For a more in-depth look into Farming Breach Splinters, take a look at our Breach Farming Guide.
After entering the Twisted Domain, you first have to fight your way through the Breach, killing monsters adds to a timer, and if the timer ever reaches zero you lose the chance to fight Xesht, so make sure you keep up with it. After a while the timer disappears and some loot drops, this means you're close to Xesht, pick up the loot, then walk to the boss arena to start the fight.
Loot table
In addition to regular loot, Xesht has the following boss-specific drops:
- Beyond Reach
- Hand of Wisdom and Action
- Xoph's Blood
- Choir of the Storm
- The Pandemonius
- Skin of the Loyal (difficulty 2+)
- Controlled Metamorphosis (difficulty 4 only)
As well as Breach Rings and Catalysts(like Chayula's Catalyst and Flesh Catalyst) being common drops in the Twisted Domain.

Ability Breakdown
Arm Smashes
Xesht randomly summon arms out of portals on the floor throughout the entirety of the second phase. These arms slam down after a delay, dealing damage in a line.
Your two options are to run away and outrange the slam, or to learn the timing and dodge a tiny bit after the elbow starts bending down.
This attack gets progressively more difficult as the Atlas difficulty goes up, scaling up to 4 portals at difficulty 4, and they also get faster which changes the dodge timings.
Boss Mechanics
Damage Types: Physical, Lightning, Cold, Fire
- Tul Summon
- Summons a white hand shooting icicles.
- Esh Summon
- Summons a blue hand that creates a ring of lightning, culminating in a shockwave.
- Burrow
- Burrows under the ground, chasing you. He claps both his hands and slices the ground when unburrowing.
- Finger Gun
- Flicks his finger to shoot a wave of air at you.
- Hand Smash
- Summons a hand that falls from the sky after a short delay. Extremely Dangerous.
- Triple Blast

- Xoph Sun Orb
- Summons a slow-moving Fire Orb that he throws at the ground in front of him.
Once he drops to about half HP:
- Phase Transition
- Stops in place and summons a purple portal above him.
- Only occurs once: when Xesht first reaches 50% hitpoints.
- Arm Smashes
- Arms rise up from the ground and try to squash you.
Scaling
The Twisted Domain Difficulty nodes on the Atlas Tree make Xesht more challenging. At difficulty 0, Xesht has 6 million hitpoints, gaining another 6 million for each difficulty added up to difficulty 4. For a total of 32 million hitpoints.
In addition: his Arm Smash attack summons more arms and gets faster with each difficulty level.
