Titanic Blight
The Titanic Blight Strategy is a mid-investment farming method that yields large amounts of raw currency, maps, and scarabs. It combines the Blight Scarab of the Blightheart with the Blightspawn Atlas Passive to spawn an enormous number of Unique Monsters. These monsters are further empowered by Titanic Scarab, significantly increasing the amount of loot they drop.
WARNING: This strategy is extremely difficult for your build and PC alike! In maps with a large number of lanes the number of monsters can cause disconnects.
Set-Up
When setting up to run this strategy, it is recommended that you purchase enough materials to complete a sizable batch of maps. Failing to do this makes selling your drops far more difficult, as you frequently need to interrupt farming to trade for additional supplies.
Map Choice
- Easier Option: Tier 16 Toxic Sewer Map with Originator Influence
- Toxic Sewer has a very narrow layout that results in fewer lanes being spawned from the Blight pump. This is done solely to increase the chance of completing the encounter .
- Typically this is used to gain more Blight Chests that reward oils, however with Blight Scarab of the Blightheart this is not important.
- Prioritize Maps with a high amount of Pack Size to better scale the Titanic Scarab. 8-Mod maps typically have a much higher pack size, but are much more difficult.

- Hard Option (More Loot): Tier 16 Dunes Map with Originator Influence
- The open layout allows the Blight pump to generate multiple branch points, which significantly increases enemy density and, therefore, loot.
- WARNING: This spawns a huge number of monsters. So many that it can completely crash the game.

Map Device
- Kirac Modifier - Quantity of Items Found
- Eldritch Influence - Eater of Worlds
- The choice of Eldritch Influence is up to your discretion with this strategy; neither is essential.

- Blight Scarab of the Blightheart
- Titanic Scarab
- Cartography Scarab of Escalation
- Cartography Scarab of Corruption
- Titanic Scarab of Treasures
NOTE: Check the FAQ section for further combinations of scarabs for this strategy.

Gameplay
- Rush through the map and clear all the monsters to gather as many Petals as you can. These should be used on the swarms of unique enemies spawned by the Blight encounter.
- The best petal modifiers for this strategy are:
- Memory of Disbelief: Consumes Petals to cause affected nearby monsters to not be able to drop items that can have rarity. The number of Petals consumed is proportional to the Power of affected monsters. (Cost 30 Petals)
- Memory of Impulsiveness: Consumes Petals to cause affected nearby monsters to have 200% increased Item Rarity and convert non-unique equipment items to Gold. The number of Petals consumed is proportional to the Power of affected monsters. (Cost 30 Petals)
- Find and begin the Blight:
- Build Level 3 Chill and Stun Towers at chokepoints to slow down as many mobs as possible.
- Once every chokepoint has this combination, start building Level 3 Empowering Towers to increase the effectiveness of the others.
- Upgrade one into an Imbuing Tower and another into a Smothering Tower.
- Before the encounter ends, build and upgrade your towers into as many level 4 towers as possible, making sure to have at least one of each type. This is for the Templar Ingenuity Atlas Passive that drops a surprisingly large amount of loot.
Loot Breakdown
Here are the primary drops to sell with the Titanic Blight Strategy. If you're having trouble selling your loot, refer to our Currency Exchange Guide for tips on efficient selling.
This strategy doesn’t offer many exclusive rewards, but instead drops large amounts of general loot including:
- Scarabs: Ambush Scarab of Containment, Ultimatum Scarab of Catalysing
- Currency: Divine Orb, Hinekora's Lock
- Unique Items: Mageblood, Headhunter, Rakiata's Dance.
The Maps that you drop can be split into 3 categories:
- Tier 17 Fortress Maps.
- Fortress Maps are the easiest Tier 17s to sell, as they can be priced in a public tab for consistent sales.
- Identify them and place them into a higher-priced tab to maximize value. Buyers looking for specific rolls pay more. While this method may result in slower sales, it often yields higher profits.
- Periodically move unsold maps back to your standard pricing tab to keep inventory flowing.
- 8-Mod Corrupted Maps
- These maps are harder to sell compared to standard Tier 17s, as you'll typically need to use a third-party platform, such as PoExchange, especially when selling in bulk. Refer to our PoExchange guide for instructions on how to list your 8-Mod maps efficiently.
- Players often provide a regex, which is a string of characters used to filter out unwanted mods. To use it:
- Paste the regex into your stash tab search bar.
- This will highlight only the maps that match their criteria.
- Then, remove the requested number of highlighted maps and send them in trade.
- Originator Influenced Maps
- Ideally you are running the 8-Mod corrupted maps with a high "More Maps" roll in order to maximize your returns. However, with this strategy you drop between 2-4 of these maps per instance.
- Remove any that you plan to run and then list the remaining in a separate tab.
- Put the starting price a 1 Divine Orb.
- Reduce this price every couple of hours.
- Ideally you are running the 8-Mod corrupted maps with a high "More Maps" roll in order to maximize your returns. However, with this strategy you drop between 2-4 of these maps per instance.
The large chest at the end of the encounter can be many different types of rewards;
- Blight Rewards:
- A large number of Oils; Golden Oil,Silver Oil, Opalescent Oil.
- Blighted Maps; sell these in bulk to other players.
- Divination Cards:
- Drops a large number of Stacked Decks
- Currency:
- Drops various currencies. Divine Orb, Exalted Orb, Chaos Orb.
- Armour/Jewelry:
- These chests are typically bad, but do have a small chance to drop a large number of synthesised items.
FAQ
This combination is nearly impossible for most builds, but if yours is strong enough to handle it, it offers the highest possible rewards:
- Titanic Scarab of Legend
- Titanic Scarab
- Blight Scarab of the Blightheart
- 2x Cartography Scarab of Risk
If you do not want to sell 8-Mod maps but cannot complete maps with the scarabs listed above, use the following combination of scarabs:
- Titanic Scarab
- 2x Titanic Scarab of Treasures
- Blight Scarab of the Blightheart
- Scarab of Wisps
When a map is corrupted there is a chance that it is completely rerolled with 8 new modifiers. This is huge for endgame farming as each modifier on the map is responsible for the corresponding amount of Quantity, Rarity and Pack Size. In the case of Originator Maps or Tier 17 maps, it is also tied to the more Scarabs, Currency and Map modifiers.
You can farm these yourself using the Map Farming Strategy. This strategy uses the Cartography Scarab of Corruption to make every map dropped become an 8-Modifier Map.
Alternatively, you can buy them in Bulk from other players using PoExchange. Provide the person you are buying them from with your "Regex" so they can eliminate any maps with modifiers you do not want.
