The Hammer of Daedalus offers special bonuses that modify and enhance your Weapon. These upgrades modify your Attack and Special, offering damage bonuses or changing their mechanics. After you set out each night, keep an eye out for these distinct hammers as the Upgrades they offer can redefine your build.

Daedalus Hammers
You normally encounter 2 Hammers of Daedalus within a given run. They appear as room rewards and are sometimes sold in Charon's shop. Unlike Boons, you cannot reroll Daedalus Hammer rewards which makes them highly random.
Once you interact with the hammer it gives you 3 options to choose from. Unlike Boons, you cannot reroll these choices which makes it a bit random.
Upgrades by Weapon
There are a few Hammer effects that are shared between all the weapons. For example, all weapons have an anti-Armor upgrade. But some Hammer upgrades have powerful effects unique to the weapon. For example, Dual Moonshot on Descura causes both your Special and Omega special to fire 2 projectiles in parallel, doubling your damage! On the other hand, Psychic Whirlwind on Zorephet lets you freely use Attacks and Special during your whirlwind style Omega Attack.
Descura, the Witch's Staff

| Extending Wallop | Your Attack has more range and deals +100% damage to distant foes. |
| Mirrored Thrasher | Attacks hit 2 times but use 5 Magick. |
| Aetheric Moonburst | The Omega Special gains a Power Shot that deals +50% damage and restores 20 Magick. |
| Giga Moonburst | You can channel 30 Magick into your Special to deal +300% damage in a larger area. |
| Dual Moonshot | Specials fire 2 projectiles but have -40% range. |
Lim and Oros, the Sister Blades

| Melting Dart | Specials destroy 50% of any Armor (based on the total). |
| Spiral Knives | Specials deal +20% damage and your Omega Special fires 16 knives in a spiral pattern. |
| Dancing Knives | Specials deal +15% damage and bounce towards up to 2 more foes. |
| Sureshot Flurry | Your Omega Special fires straight ahead, and your Specials have +30% range. |
| Hook Knives | Specials pierce through foes and return to you at the end of their path. |
Zorephet, the Moonstone Axe

| Advancing Whirlwind | Your Omega Attack fires straight ahead of you and deals +80% damage. |
| Giga Cleaver | Your Omega Special fires 2 times in succession but costs 15 additional Magick. |
| Furious Whirlwind | Channel your Omega Attack faster and move 50% faster while it is active. |
| Unyielding Slash | Attacks have +10 Power and you take -20% damage while using them. |
| Hell Splitter | Your Attack becomes a big slow chop with 300 Power. |
Revaal, the Argent Skull

| Mega Driver | Specials travel farther and deal +50% damage. |
| Posessed Array | Your Shells fire your Omega Attack when retrieved at the cost of 10 Magick. |
| Destructive Array | Whenever your Shells land, they deal 50% of your Attack as damage around them. |
| Melting Tackle | Specials destroy 50% of Armor (based on the total). |
| Sudden Driver | Specials are 35% faster. |
| Full Salvo | Attacks fire all your Shells in a spread pattern. |
| Rocket Bombard | Your Omega Attack fires straight ahead and has +60 Power. |
| Colossus Driver | Your Special has +30 Power and you take -30% damage while using it. |
Ygnium, the Umbral Flames

| Rising Coil | Specials grow in size and deal +25% damage the longer they are active. |
| Mega Spark | Attacks fire 20% farther and deal +30% damage. |
| Whirling Coil | Omega Special projectiles orbit 40% faster. |
| Triple Comet | Specials fire +2 projectiles. |
| Melting Coil | Specials destroy 20% of any Armor (based on the total). |
| Clean Helix | Channel your Omega Special 20% faster and it uses 10 less Magick. |
| Leaden Spark | Attacks knock foes away and have +10 Power. |
| Split Spark | Your Attacks split in 2 the first time they strike foes. |
Summary
Keep an eye out for Hammers of Daedalus which offer unique ways to enhance your Attack and Special. After interacting with the Hammer you pick from 1 of 3 upgrades which is then applied to your weapon. Many of these effects are incredibly powerful to the point where they can be build defining.
